Prayer request

Beloved of All
I need prayers and strength to keep trying because last year I was watching something very bad and it tries and sometimes pop up to my head and goes away and I let it. It was about this inappropriate step-siblings relationship and the end of the chapter the step-sister got pregnant, had a child, and married later. It's sick and illegal, and I didn't realize authors are super sick some because I was searching a kissing video being cheeky and I saw it recommended and I ignored at first then watched it more. They had porn of course too for months. I stayed away from it, which is good since January of 2025. It's May 20, 2026, I need nonstop prayers and to do my part to control it and to continue to be trained by God no matter what, even if it's bad curiosity. I deserve a clean, healthy mind, not allowing the devil trying to attack me and get the best of me. I feel ok because God is always there for me, but in the mornings I'm mentally not feeling ok and afternoons sometimes, but mostly mornings. I really need prayers badly, and there are times I mostly need prayers because I don't know how to pray and say much, and I really need to learn more how to and never give up for past days I slept more feeling not myself because of it. Out of nowhere, it tries to pop up in my head, I think because of my actions of course, but please keep praying for me. I really appreciate this and I want a work-from-home job, anything good that doesn't require ID because I'm very poor. We are good with food thanks to God, and I need prayers for that and my mom and siblings and me spiritually and mentally, and hopefully my mom be freed from smoking weed. She's a good person, but everyone has personal addictions because we all go through a lot. I love drawing, and this guy wanted to pay me $100 every end of the month for sharing my drawing to him for his music career album, but I sadly rejected it. But I really need prayers because I don't want to depend on nobody and trust and depend on God only, and no matter how hard it is, I want to stick with God through the lows and highs. Prayers for my brothers and sisters, not just my blood ones, everyone I don't know and know. We need to find another hotel this Friday because New Jersey has a lame 14 or 30-day limit stay for 2 bedrooms and a sofa and kitchen. I have 3 siblings and my mom. I feel sad and lost and mentally drained.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting every burden to the throne of grace. First, we must address the seriousness of what you’ve confessed, watching inappropriate content, especially that which glorifies sinful relationships like step-sibling intimacy, is not just "sick" as you described, but it is an abomination in the eyes of God. The Bible warns us clearly in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (WEB), "Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." You are not alone in this struggle, but we must rebuke the enemy’s lies that tell you this is merely "curiosity" or that you are powerless against it. The blood of Jesus has broken every chain, and His strength is made perfect in your weakness.

The fact that these images and thoughts resurface is not a sign of failure but a call to deeper warfare. James 4:7 (WEB) declares, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." You are doing the right thing by staying away, but we must also address the root. The devil preys on isolation, shame, and unconfessed sin. 1 John 1:9 (WEB) promises, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." You have already taken the first step by confessing this to God and to us, now we must stand firm in the truth that you are forgiven, cleansed, and no longer bound by this. The enemy will try to whisper condemnation, but Romans 8:1 (WEB) says, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit."

Your mornings and afternoons may feel heavy, but we serve a God who renews our strength. Isaiah 40:31 (WEB) says, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." You are not meant to carry this alone. The Holy Spirit is your Helper, and we will intercede for you daily, but you must also do your part. Fill your mind with Scripture, worship, and godly fellowship. Philippians 4:8 (WEB) instructs, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things." When those thoughts come, replace them immediately with God’s Word. Memorize verses like Psalm 51:10 (WEB), "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me," and speak them aloud.

We also lift up your financial struggles and the need for stable housing. It is not wrong to ask God for provision, Matthew 6:31-33 (WEB) says, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." You are right to want to depend on God alone, and He will honor that. The offer of money for your drawings may have been a test, will you trust God’s provision or man’s? Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Keep seeking Him first, and He will open doors no man can shut.

For your mother and siblings, we pray for deliverance from every addiction and stronghold. 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (WEB) declares, "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." We rebuke the spirit of addiction in your mother’s life and command it to leave in Jesus’ name. We also pray for your family’s housing situation, Psalm 34:17 (WEB) says, "The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles." God sees your need, and He will make a way.

Lastly, we must address the foundation of your faith. You mentioned feeling God’s presence, but we must ensure you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. John 14:6 (WEB) says, "Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’" If you have never surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Pray this with us: "Lord Jesus, I confess that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I repent of my sins and ask You to come into my heart and be my Lord. Cleanse me, forgive me, and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I want to follow You all the days of my life. In Your name, Amen."

Now, let us pray for you:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is fighting a hard battle. Lord, we thank You for their honesty and their desire to be free. We rebuke every unclean spirit that has gained access through the content they consumed, and we command it to leave now in Jesus’ name. Father, wash them clean by the blood of Jesus and renew their mind with Your Word. Strengthen them in their weakest moments, especially in the mornings, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Lord, we ask for provision, open doors for a work-from-home job that honors You, and provide stable housing for their family. Break the chains of addiction in their mother’s life and draw her closer to You. Protect their siblings and cover them with Your angels. Father, we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn.

Teach them how to pray without ceasing, and help them to stand firm on Your promises. Surround them with godly fellowship and mentors who can encourage them. Lord, we thank You that You are their Provider, their Healer, and their Deliverer. We trust You to complete the good work You’ve begun in them. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

Keep pressing into God. The battle is already won, you are more than a conqueror through Christ. 1 Corinthians 10:13 (WEB) says, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." You are not alone. We will continue to stand with you in prayer.

We hear your heart and we’re standing with you in this fight. It’s not easy to battle what you’ve been exposed to, and we want you to know that God sees you and He hasn’t abandoned you for a second. Those thoughts and images that keep popping up aren’t a sign that you’ve failed; they’re just the enemy trying to steal your peace and make you feel like you’re back at square one. But we serve a God who renews our minds and washes us clean when we come to Him in honesty.

It’s brave of you to recognize that what you watched was harmful and to walk away from it. That’s a huge step, and we’re praying for the strength to keep choosing what’s right, even when it’s hard. God’s Word tells us in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that He won’t let us face more than we can handle, and He’ll always provide a way out. Let’s hold onto that promise when those moments come where you feel drained or tempted.

We’re also lifting up your family in prayer right now. Your mom and siblings need the Lord’s healing touch, especially in areas where addiction or brokenness might be holding them back. It’s tough seeing someone we love struggle, but God is able to break chains and set them free. We’re asking for a breakthrough in your mom’s life, that she would feel drawn to Him and find the strength to walk away from what’s harming her.

And honey, we want you to know that your heart for your family is beautiful. You’re carrying so much on your shoulders, but you don’t have to do it alone. God is your Provider, and He’s already making a way for you, whether that’s through a job, a home, or just the peace that comes from trusting Him. Keep drawing near to Him through prayer and worship, even when it feels like the mornings are the hardest. He’s there, and He’s fighting for you.

Father, we thank You for this dear one who is seeking You so faithfully. Lord, we ask that You would flood their mind with Your truth and replace every lie with Your peace. Break the power of anything that’s been attached to them through what they’ve seen or struggled with, and let them walk in the freedom that Christ died to give them. Heal their family, provide for their needs, and open doors that no one can shut. Give them wisdom for their decisions and courage to keep pressing into You. Surround them with people who will encourage their faith and remind them of Your love. We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus.

I have prayed for you in Jesus name.

**Please pray for your fellow Christian/Saints on the board as Ephesians 6:18 commands.

"Pray at all times in the Spirit, with every prayer and request, and stay alert in this, with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints"
