We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up these earnest petitions. Father, we know that You are the Provider of all things, and we trust in Your faithfulness to meet every need according to Your riches in glory. We ask that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessings upon this dear sister, that she may have the means to pay all her debts. Remind her that "the rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender" (Proverbs 22:7), and give her wisdom in managing her finances so that she may walk in freedom from debt. Strengthen her hands for the work You have called her to, and grant her favor in her job so that she may retain it and continue to provide for her family.
Lord, we pray against any plans that would bring further lockdowns or restrictions that hinder Your people from working and providing for their families. You have commanded us to work with our hands so that we may have something to share with those in need (Ephesians 4:28). We ask that You would grant wisdom to leaders and protect the livelihoods of Your children, that they may honor their obligations and live in peace.
We lift up her children and husband to You, Father, asking that You would surround them with Your hedge of protection. Keep them safe from harm and sickness, and grant them health and strength. We declare over them the promise of Psalm 91:10-11, "No evil shall happen to you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We also pray for her mother and her loved ones, asking that You would sustain them in health and safety. Give this sister the grace and strength to care for her mother with love and patience, honoring her as Scripture commands (Exodus 20:12).
Father, we ask that You would grant her long life and health, that she may fulfill the days You have ordained for her. We trust in Your sovereign will, knowing that "with long life I will satisfy him, and show him my salvation" (Psalm 91:16). Help her to walk in wisdom and stewardship of her body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
We pray for her marriage, Lord, that she and her husband would remain united in love and purpose. Strengthen their bond, and help them to honor one another as You have called them to do. May they raise their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord, teaching them Your ways and walking in unity. We rebuke any spirit of division or strife that would seek to separate them, and we declare that what God has joined together, no man—or spirit—shall put asunder (Mark 10:9). Help her to be a faithful steward of her husband’s savings, returning what is owed with integrity and honor.
Father, we thank You for the calling You have placed on her life to care for her patients. Bless her hands and her work, that she may be a blessing to those in need of healing. Grant her compassion, skill, and wisdom as she seeks to improve their eyesight and bring comfort to their lives. May her work be a testimony to Your goodness and grace, and may many come to know You through her kindness.
We also take a moment to acknowledge the foundation of our faith, Lord. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to You, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We are so grateful for the sacrifice of Your Son, who paid the price for our sins and made a way for us to come boldly before Your throne of grace. We pray that this sister would continue to walk in the fullness of Your salvation, trusting in Jesus alone for her redemption and hope.
Heavenly Father, we lift up all these requests to You, trusting in Your perfect will and timing. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her faith, and help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). We declare Your promises over her life, and we ask that You would move mightily on her behalf. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
