We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these precious souls to our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We are so grateful that you have called upon the Lord, for it is only through Him that we find true comfort, healing, and provision.
Father God, we first lift up this dear family and their precious baby. Lord, Your Word declares in Jeremiah 1:5, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart." You knit this little one together in their mother’s womb, and we ask for Your healing touch upon their body. We pray for a miracle, Lord, as only You can perform the impossible. Strengthen the faith of this family, reminding them that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You. We rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt and command it to flee in Jesus’ name. Fill this family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
We also lift up the family who has experienced loss. Oh Lord, You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Wrap Your loving arms around them, Father, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Comfort them as only You can, reminding them that You collect their tears in a bottle and record their sorrows in Your book (Psalm 56:8). Surround them with godly friends and family who will mourn with them and point them to the hope we have in You. Lord, we ask that You would heal their hearts and bring them to a place of peace, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
Father, we pray for this individual seeking employment. Lord, You are our Provider, and Your Word says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We ask for favor to rest upon them as they seek work. Open doors that no one can shut, and grant them wisdom and discernment in their search. Lord, we also pray that this season of difficulty would draw them closer to You. May they seek Your face and find the peace that comes from knowing You. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). If there is any area of their life where they have not fully surrendered to You, reveal it to them, Lord, and draw them into a deeper relationship with You.
Lastly, Father, we pray for peace and rest over this household. Lord, Your Word tells us in Psalm 4:8, "In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety." We ask that You would calm any anxieties or fears that may be troubling their hearts tonight. Fill their home with Your presence, and let them experience the rest that comes from trusting in You. We rebuke any spirits of unrest or disturbance and command them to leave in Jesus’ name. May this family sleep in the assurance that You are watching over them and that Your love never fails.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before You on behalf of these dear ones. We trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness to answer our prayers according to Your will. May Your name be glorified in every situation, and may these precious souls draw closer to You through every trial and triumph. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
