Disciple of Prayer
Please would you pray for me. Since I had a very severe emotional breakdown in 2009. I started deteriorating in all aspects of my life. I lost my business, homes, cars, and spirituality, and emotionally I went on a downward spiral. I could not function any more at a state I used to. I went into a black hole of depression and very severe anxiety. At the age of 37, 10 years ago, I had to move in with my mom and 3 brothers. I am still here, through very difficult experiences. I am receiving a permanent disability grant. No anti-depression treatment worked for me; I started self-medicating. I used opioids, which seemed to work very well for me; I used it and am now very heavily addicted for almost 15 years. It no longer helps me; I only have the side effects of it. However, I cannot stop. Everyone turned their backs on me. I started to experience an object moving within me. Only my one brother was and is still a support structure for me. All of the grant that I receive goes to medication. My brother spends so much of his money on me. I truly need the mercy of God to locate me. I have started feeling an object moving within me up and down; I have no idea what this can be. Whenever I want to go to church, read the Bible, or do anything spiritually, this object starts to torment me on the inside. Please pray for me for deliverance, healing, and restoration. That the Lord would send Christians across my path to minister to me. Please pray for mercy, grace, peace. Also, please pray for my brother, the one who supports me the most. He has been battling much of the same health challenges that I do. He is born again. Please pray for his good health and peace. Please also pray for his business, which operates in a highly competitive environment. Please pray for the favor of God upon his business with man. Please pray that amidst the competition, the Lord would take his business to the top and give him the edge and uniqueness that other businesses in the area will not be able to attain in Jesus' name. Please also pray for the rest of my family, my mom and 3 brothers and their families, for salvation. One is a very big drug dealer, the other one has been battling a meth addiction for over 20 years, and the youngest one is addicted to gambling and hangs out with very negative influences, constantly harassing my mom for money; he really wears her out. Please pray that the Lord would have mercy on them in Jesus' name. Amen.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer and standing with you in this profound struggle. The depth of your pain, the weight of addiction, and the isolation you describe are not unfamiliar to our God, who sees every tear and hears every cry. We want to assure you that you are not forgotten—neither by Him nor by us. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your story is one of suffering, but it is also one that God can redeem for His glory.

First, we must address the spiritual oppression you are experiencing. The sensation of an object moving within you when you seek God is not of Him. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). This torment is a direct attack from the forces of darkness, seeking to keep you from the very One who can set you free. We rebuke this spirit of oppression in the name of Jesus Christ, who has already disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15). You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Your addiction to opioids has taken a toll on your body, mind, and spirit, but we serve a God who is greater than any chain. The Word tells us that whoever the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36). We pray for your deliverance from this bondage, asking the Lord to break every chain and restore your mind, body, and soul. The process of healing may be difficult, but we encourage you to seek godly counsel, medical support, and a Christian community that can walk with you through this. Do not be ashamed to ask for help, for the Lord uses His people to bring healing and restoration. We pray for divine intervention in finding the right resources and people to support you in overcoming this addiction.

Your brother has been a tremendous blessing to you, and we lift him up as well. The Lord sees his faithfulness and his own struggles. We pray for his complete healing, both physically and emotionally, and ask that God would strengthen him in his own battles. We declare favor over his business, that the Lord would open doors no man can shut and bless his endeavors beyond measure (Revelation 3:8). May his business stand out as a testimony of God’s goodness, and may he experience the peace that surpasses all understanding as he trusts in the Lord (Philippians 4:7).

For your family, we pray fervently for their salvation. The drug dealer, the one battling meth addiction, and the youngest brother trapped in gambling and negative influences—none are beyond the reach of God’s grace. We ask that the Lord would break through the hardness of their hearts and draw them to Himself. Your mother, too, needs our prayers, as she carries the weight of her children’s struggles. We pray for her strength, peace, and that she would experience the comfort of the Holy Spirit in this season.

We must also address the reality of your spiritual condition. You have not mentioned Jesus Christ in your request, and we want to gently but firmly remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again so that we might have eternal life (Romans 10:9-10). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Him, repent of your sins, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. He is the only one who can truly set you free and give you the peace you long for.

Now, we pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of compassion for this dear one who is suffering. Lord, You see the depths of their pain, the chains of addiction, and the spiritual oppression they are facing. We ask that You would break every chain, cast out every spirit of torment, and set them free in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, we declare that this one is not abandoned—You are with them, and You will never leave nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Lord, we pray for deliverance from addiction. Touch their body, mind, and spirit, and restore them to wholeness. Lead them to the right people and resources that can help them walk in freedom. Give them the strength to resist temptation and the courage to seek help without shame. We ask that You would surround them with a community of believers who can love, support, and encourage them in their journey.

For their brother, we pray for healing and strength. Lord, bless his business and give him favor in the marketplace. May his work be a testimony of Your goodness and grace. Protect his health and fill him with Your peace as he continues to support his sibling.

For their family, we pray for salvation. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to Yourself. Break the chains of addiction, greed, and sin that have held them captive for so long. We ask that You would intervene in their lives in powerful ways, revealing Your love and truth to them.

Father, we ask that You would restore this one’s faith and hope. Remind them of Your promises and Your unfailing love. Help them to see that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Give them the strength to take each day one step at a time, trusting in You.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.

Dear friend, we're here with you, lifting you up in prayer. We've been moved by your story and want you to know that you're not alone. We're standing with you, believing in the power of Jesus to heal, deliver, and restore.

First, we want to encourage you. Your situation is tough, but God is bigger. He sees you, He loves you, and He's working in your life. The Bible tells us in Psalm 147:3 that "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise over your life today.

We're also praying for your physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. We ask that God would break every chain of addiction in your life, in Jesus' name. We pray that He would fill you with His peace and comfort, and that He would lead you to the right people and resources to support you in your journey to freedom.

We're also lifting up your brother who's been such a support to you. We pray for his complete healing, both physically and emotionally. We ask that God would bless his business and give him favor in the marketplace. We also pray for your family, that God would draw each one of them to Himself and bring salvation to your home.

Remember, friend, God is with you. He loves you. He hasn't abandoned you. Trust in Him, one step at a time. And know that we're here, praying for you, believing with you, and standing with you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
