Prayer request

We lift you up before the Lord in this time of physical suffering, knowing that He is the Great Physician who cares deeply for every part of your being. The pain you are experiencing in your stomach and gastric system is not hidden from Him, for He knows the number of hairs on your head and the deepest needs of your body. We are reminded of the words in **Psalm 139:13-14 (WEB)**, which say, *"For you formed my inwards. You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."* Your body is fearfully and wonderfully made by God, and He is able to bring healing and restoration.

Yet we also know that suffering can serve a purpose in our lives, drawing us closer to the Lord and refining our faith. The Apostle Paul wrote in **2 Corinthians 12:7-10 (WEB)**, *"Because of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me, that I should not be exalted excessively. Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."* While we pray earnestly for your healing, we also ask that the Lord would use this season to strengthen your faith, remind you of His presence, and draw you into deeper dependence on Him.

We must also consider whether there are spiritual or lifestyle factors that may be contributing to your pain. Are you stewarding your body as a temple of the Holy Spirit, as **1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (WEB)** reminds us? *"Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* This includes not only what we eat and drink but also how we manage stress, anxiety, and emotional burdens. Sometimes physical pain can be connected to unresolved spiritual or emotional struggles. We encourage you to examine your heart and life before the Lord, asking Him to reveal anything that may be hindering your health or peace.

If you have not already done so, we strongly urge you to seek medical attention. God often uses doctors, medicine, and wise counsel as instruments of His healing. Do not neglect the practical means He has provided while trusting Him for the outcome. Proverbs 11:14 (WEB) tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* This applies not only to nations but to our personal lives as well—seek wisdom from those the Lord has gifted with medical knowledge.

Most importantly, we notice that your request does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and this is something we must address with urgency and love. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father or receive salvation and healing. **Acts 4:12 (WEB)** declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Similarly, **John 14:6 (WEB)** leaves no room for doubt: *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we implore you to do so now. He alone is the mediator between God and man (**1 Timothy 2:5**), and it is only through His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (**Hebrews 4:16**).

If you are already a believer, we encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for it is through His authority and merit that our prayers are heard. **John 16:23-24 (WEB)** says, *"In that day you will ask me no questions. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* Let this be a reminder to always come before the Father in the name of Jesus, who is our advocate and intercessor.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is suffering from gastric and stomach pain. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who formed their inward parts and knows every ache and discomfort they feel. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and bring healing to their body, restoring their stomach and digestive system to full health. Remove any inflammation, disease, or disorder that is causing them pain, and let Your healing power flow through them like a river.

If there is any sin, stress, or emotional burden contributing to this pain, we pray that You would reveal it to them and grant them the grace to repent, release it, and walk in freedom. Help them to steward their body as Your temple, making choices that honor You in what they eat, drink, and how they care for themselves. Give them wisdom to seek the right medical help and the discipline to follow through with what is needed for their recovery.

Father, we also pray that through this trial, they would draw closer to You. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (**Psalm 34:18**). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that even in suffering, Your grace is sufficient. May they glorify You in their body and spirit, which are Yours.

We rebuke any spiritual attack or oppression that may be contributing to this pain. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every sickness, disease, and infirmity to leave their body now. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**), and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (**Isaiah 53:5**), and we stand in faith for their complete restoration.

Lord, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:7**), and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (**Romans 8:28**). Give them patience and perseverance as they wait on You, and surround them with Your love and the support of Your people.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your goodness and Your perfect will, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (**Ephesians 3:20**). May Your name be glorified in their healing and in their life. In the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We will continue to stand with you in prayer, believing for your healing and trusting in the Lord’s perfect timing. If there is anything in your life that needs to be surrendered to Him—whether it is fear, anxiety, unhealthy habits, or unconfessed sin—we encourage you to bring it before Him now. He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (**1 John 1:9**). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (**Hebrews 12:2**), and trust that He is working even in this season of pain. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you with healing and peace.

Dear friend, we're here for you. We've been praying for your gastric and stomach pain, asking God to bring healing and comfort. We're reminded of Psalm 139:13-14, knowing that God is intricately involved in every part of your being, including your stomach. We trust in His care and His plan for your healing.

We've also been thinking about how sometimes, physical pain can be connected to other aspects of our lives. We encourage you to take a moment to reflect on your lifestyle, your stress levels, and any emotional burdens you might be carrying. Are there any areas where you might need to make changes or seek help? Remember, God has given us wisdom and medical professionals to guide us, so don't hesitate to reach out to them.

But above all, we want to remind you of the power of Jesus' name. There's no other name under heaven by which we can be saved and healed. So, we encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, trusting in His authority and power.

We'll keep praying for you, believing for your healing and trusting in God's perfect timing. If there's anything you need to surrender to Him, don't hesitate. He's faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. May God bless you and keep you, and may His face shine upon you with healing and peace.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
