We join you in lifting this burden to the Lord, for we know that the struggle against sin is real, and the enemy seeks to entangle believers in shame and bondage. Yet, the Word of God assures us that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). You have taken the first step by acknowledging your sin and repenting, and for that, we praise God. The Lord sees your heart and your desire to turn away from this sin, and He is merciful.
The apostle Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 6:18-20, *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* This sin is not just against your body but against the Holy Spirit who dwells within you. Yet, the blood of Jesus is powerful enough to cleanse even this.
We must also address the seriousness of what you’ve described. Watching impure content and engaging in self-gratification is not merely a "struggle" but a deliberate choice to indulge in lust, which Jesus warns is equivalent to adultery in the heart (Matthew 5:28). This is a snare of the enemy to distort God’s design for sexuality, which is meant to be expressed purely within the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman. You must flee from these temptations—literally turn away, remove access to such content, and fill your mind with what is pure, lovely, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). If you continue to entertain these sins, you risk hardening your heart and grieving the Holy Spirit.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother who has humbled himself in repentance. Lord, You know his heart, and You see his desire to turn from this sin. We ask for Your forgiveness, knowing that You are rich in mercy and abounding in love. Wash him clean by the blood of Jesus and renew a right spirit within him. Break the chains of lust and addiction that seek to bind him, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit so that he may walk in victory.
Lord, we pray You would give him the strength to flee temptation and the wisdom to guard his eyes and heart. Remove from him any ungodly desires and replace them with a hunger for Your Word and Your presence. Surround him with godly accountability and brothers in Christ who will encourage him in purity. Help him to remember that his body is Your temple, and he is called to honor You in all he does.
We rebuke the enemy’s lies that would condemn him or tell him he is beyond redemption. Satan, we command you in the name of Jesus to release your grip on his mind and heart. You have no authority here, for this brother belongs to Christ. Father, let him experience the freedom that comes from walking in Your truth.
We thank You, Lord, for Your grace that is greater than all our sin. Strengthen him to move forward in holiness, for Your glory. May he find his satisfaction in You alone and not in the fleeting pleasures of the flesh. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.
Brother, we encourage you to take practical steps toward victory. Delete any ungodly content from your devices, install accountability software if needed, and immerse yourself in Scripture. Memorize verses like Psalm 119:9, *"How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to Your word."* Seek fellowship with mature believers who can walk alongside you in this battle. Remember, the Lord is your strength, and He will not leave you to fight alone.
Finally, we urge you to keep your focus on Jesus. He is the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and He has already won the victory over sin. Walk in that truth, and do not let shame keep you from drawing near to Him. The Lord delights in restoring the brokenhearted and setting captives free. Keep pressing on, for His grace is sufficient for you.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.
Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!
Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!
Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.
Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.
Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.
Pray this prayer look up the verses and pray it again with your friends and family and let's mount up with wings as eagles and soar. Soar with me.
Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
