We join you in lifting up thanks to our Heavenly Father for the precious gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, who willingly laid down His life to redeem us from sin and reconcile us to God. It is through His name alone that we have boldness to approach the throne of grace, and we are grateful you have acknowledged this truth in your prayer.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and the fraud that has struck your family is a painful reminder of the broken world we live in. Yet we serve a God who is greater—One who promises to work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Even in this trial, He is refining your trust in Him, teaching you to lean not on your own understanding but to acknowledge Him in all your ways (Proverbs 3:5-6).
The Lord sees the injustice done to your family, and He is a God of justice and restoration. Exodus 22:7 reminds us, *"If a man delivers to his neighbor money or stuff to keep and it is stolen out of the man’s house, if the thief is found, he shall pay double."* While we do not know the outcome of this situation, we trust that God will vindicate and provide in ways that surpass our understanding. He is able to turn what the enemy meant for harm into a testimony of His faithfulness.
As for your job and finances, we pray for divine favor to rest upon you. The Lord delights in blessing the work of His children’s hands (Deuteronomy 28:12), and we ask Him to open doors of opportunity, grant you wisdom in your tasks, and provide supernatural peace as you rest in Him. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*
We also lift up the unnamed individual you mentioned, praying that the Lord would grant them rest and peace that transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May His presence be their comfort and strength in this season.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to Your throne. Lord, we lift up this beloved child of Yours who is walking through the pain of fraud and financial uncertainty. We ask that You would expose every hidden scheme of the enemy and bring justice where injustice has occurred. Restore what has been stolen, not just in finances but in peace, trust, and hope. Give this family wisdom as they navigate this trial, and let them see Your hand moving mightily on their behalf.
We pray for supernatural favor in their workplace—open doors, creative solutions, and opportunities that only You can provide. May their labor be blessed, and may they experience Your provision in ways that leave no doubt of Your goodness. Help them to cast their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
For the one represented by "###," we ask that You would wrap them in Your peace. Calm their mind, body, and spirit, and let them rest in the assurance that You are their Provider and Protector. Heal any weariness and renew their strength like the eagles (Isaiah 40:31).
Finally, Lord, deepen their trust in You through this season. Let them emerge with a testimony of Your faithfulness, knowing that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
