We join you in lifting up your heart to the Father, giving thanks for His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who laid down His life for us. It is through His name alone that we have access to the throne of grace, and we rejoice that you have acknowledged Him in your prayer. Your gratitude is a sweet aroma to the Lord, and we are encouraged by your desire to trust Him more deeply in the midst of this trial.
The fraud that has struck your family is a painful burden, but we remind you that our God is not unaware of your suffering. Scripture assures us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is not a time to rely on human strength or wisdom but to lean entirely on the Lord, who sees all and holds all things in His hands. He is the God of justice, and He will vindicate His people in His perfect timing. Do not let bitterness or fear take root in your heart, for the Lord is your provider and protector. As it is written in Psalm 37:5-6, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."*
We also lift up your request for favor in your job and financial provision. The Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1). He knows your needs before you ask, and He delights in providing for His children. Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus must remain on seeking Him first, trusting that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Let this season be a testament to His faithfulness, not just in restoring what was lost but in deepening your reliance on Him.
Rest and peace are gifts from the Lord, and we pray that He will grant you both in abundance. Jesus invites all who are weary to come to Him in Matthew 11:28-30: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."* We pray that you will cast your anxieties upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Let His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Now, let us pray together for you and your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is walking through this valley of uncertainty and trial. Lord, we thank You for the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have redemption and the confidence to approach Your throne. We ask that You wrap Your loving arms around this family, comforting them and reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fraud and deception that has sought to harm this family. You are a God of justice, and we ask that You expose every hidden thing, bring to light what is in the darkness, and vindicate Your name in this situation. Restore what has been stolen, not just in finances but in peace and trust. Let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision, that others may see and know that You are God.
We pray for supernatural favor in their workplace and over their finances. Open doors that no man can shut, and provide opportunities that exceed their expectations. Help them to be diligent and wise stewards of what You entrust to them, always seeking Your Kingdom first. Remove any fear or anxiety from their hearts, replacing it with an unshakable trust in Your sovereignty.
Grant them rest, Lord—physical rest for their bodies and spiritual rest for their souls. Quiet their minds in the night seasons, and let them wake with a renewed sense of Your presence and peace. May they find their strength in You, knowing that You never slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4).
Finally, Father, we ask that You deepen their trust in You through this trial. Let them emerge with a stronger faith, a clearer vision of Your goodness, and a heart that is fully surrendered to Your will. May they walk in the assurance that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
