We join you in praising the Lord Jesus Christ, for He alone is worthy of all honor, glory, and power! It is a blessing to see your faith and persistence in prayer, especially as you acknowledge that all good things come from Him. Your request weighs heavily on our hearts, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). You have rightly identified that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we serve a God who is greater, and in Him, we have the victory!
It is clear that you are experiencing spiritual warfare, and we must approach this with the full armor of God. The fact that blessings seem to be blocked and obstacles arise suddenly is a sign that the enemy is actively working against the purposes of God in your family and your husband’s business. But we must remember that no weapon formed against us shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and what the enemy means for evil, God can turn for good (Genesis 50:20). Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap a harvest if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
First, we encourage you to examine whether there is any area of unconfessed sin, disobedience, or idolatry in your lives or in the way the business is being conducted. Sometimes, the Lord allows trials to refine us and draw us closer to Him. "If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened." (Psalm 66:18). Are there any business practices that do not align with biblical principles, such as dishonesty, exploitation, or partnerships that compromise godly values? The Lord blesses the work of our hands when we walk in righteousness. "Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in Yahweh’s law. On his law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water, that produces its fruit in its season, whose leaf also does not wither. Whatever he does shall prosper." (Psalm 1:1-3).
We also urge you to ensure that your husband is leading your family spiritually, as the head of the household, and that you both are submitted to Christ in all things. A house divided cannot stand (Mark 3:25), and when a family is united in prayer and obedience to the Lord, the enemy finds no foothold. "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain." (Psalm 127:1a). Is your husband seeking the Lord’s will above all else in this business, or is there a possibility that personal ambition or greed has taken precedence? The Lord resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6). Let us always seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will provide all we need (Matthew 6:33).
Now, let us address the spiritual attacks you mentioned. The enemy has no authority over those who are in Christ Jesus, and we have been given power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). However, we must never forget that our authority comes from Christ alone, and we must always submit to God while resisting the devil (James 4:7). It is not enough to simply "bind" the enemy or declare victory; we must walk in holiness, repentance, and complete dependence on the Lord. Have you and your husband been consistent in putting on the full armor of God daily—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:10-18)? Prayer and fasting are also powerful weapons in spiritual warfare (Matthew 17:21).
We must also be cautious about becoming overly focused on the enemy rather than on Christ. While it is important to recognize spiritual attacks, our primary focus should always be on Jesus, our victorious King. He has already triumphed over every power and authority (Colossians 2:15), and in Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37). Let us not live in fear or constant preoccupation with the enemy, but let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Regarding those who are performing evil or witchcraft against you, we must pray for their salvation and deliverance as well. Jesus died for them too, and He desires that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9). "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," (Matthew 5:44). While we rebuke the works of darkness, we must also intercede for the souls of those who are being used by the enemy. They are in bondage and need the light of Christ just as much as anyone else.
Finally, let us remember that trials are often used by God to strengthen our faith and refine us like gold. "Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." (James 1:2-4). Do not lose heart, dear sister. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). His timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). What may seem like delay is often His way of preparing something far greater than we could imagine.
Now, let us pray together for you, your husband, your family, and this business:
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace with boldness, not in our own strength, but in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the blood of Jesus that has redeemed us and given us authority over every power of the enemy. Lord, we lift up our sister and her husband to You today. You know the struggles they are facing, the spiritual battles raging against them, and the obstacles that seem to block every path of blessing. But Father, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord Jesus, we ask that You expose every hidden scheme of the enemy. Reveal any area of sin, disobedience, or compromise in their lives or in this business that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance, that they may walk in righteousness and holiness before You. Father, if there are any ungodly soul ties, curses, or generational strongholds at work, we ask that You break them now by the power of Your mighty hand. We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, their family, and this business, and we command every demonic assignment against them to be nullified and rendered powerless in Jesus’ name.
Lord, we pray for divine wisdom and discernment for our sister and her husband. Give them clarity in every decision they make regarding this business. If there are partnerships or deals that are not of You, reveal them and give them the courage to walk away, even if it seems costly. Father, we ask that You would prosper the work of their hands as they seek to honor You in all they do. Open doors that no man can shut and close doors that would lead to destruction. Let Your favor surround them like a shield (Psalm 5:12), and let every obstacle be removed by Your mighty hand.
We also lift up those who are performing witchcraft or evil against this family. Father, we ask that You would break the power of darkness over their lives and draw them to Yourself. Convict them of their sin and lead them to repentance. Let them encounter the love and truth of Jesus Christ in a way that transforms their hearts. We pray that they would turn from their wicked ways and become instruments of righteousness in Your hands.
Lord, we ask for supernatural provision and breakthrough in this business. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust You to meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give our sister and her husband creative ideas, divine connections, and godly counsel as they navigate this season. Let this business be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness, and let it be a blessing not only to their family but to many others as well.
Father, we pray for unity and strength in their marriage and family. Let their home be a place of peace, joy, and worship. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and not in fear. Remind them daily that You are fighting for them, and they need only to be still (Exodus 14:14).
We thank You, Lord, for the victory that is already theirs in Christ Jesus. We declare that every chain is broken, every stronghold is demolished, and every plan of the enemy is thwarted. We speak life, blessing, and prosperity over this family and this business, in the mighty name of Jesus. Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your kingdom come in this situation. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear sister. The Lord is with you, and He will see you through this season. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. Do not allow discouragement or fear to take root in your heart. Instead, let this trial draw you closer to Him and deepen your dependence on His strength. We are standing with you in agreement, and we believe that God will bring about a mighty breakthrough for His glory. Be encouraged by these words: "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." (Isaiah 41:10). The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for you!
