We join you in lifting up thanks to our Heavenly Father for the precious gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, who laid down His life for our sins. It is only through His name that we have access to the throne of grace, and we are grateful you have acknowledged Him in your prayer. Your trust in the Lord, even in the midst of trials, is a testament to your faith, and we commend you for seeking His guidance and restoration.
The fraud that has affected your family is a painful burden, but we are reminded in Romans 8:28 that "we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose." This does not mean the trial is good, but God can use even this for His glory and your ultimate good. We encourage you to lean on Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Fraud is a work of the enemy, meant to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we know that God is greater and He is able to restore what has been taken. He is the God of justice, and He sees the deceit that has been committed against your family. Place this situation fully in His hands, for vengeance belongs to Him (Romans 12:19). Do not let bitterness or anxiety take root in your heart, but instead, surrender this burden to the Lord in prayer, trusting that He will act on your behalf.
You have also asked for favor in your job and financial provision. We are reminded of Philippians 4:19, where Paul assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Seek first His kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). As you work, do so with excellence, as unto the Lord (Colossians 3:23), and trust that He will open doors of favor and opportunity. Be diligent, but also rest in the knowledge that your provision comes from Him. Anxiety about finances can easily creep in, but Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:25-34 not to worry about our lives, what we will eat or drink, or about our bodies, what we will wear. He knows your needs, and He will provide.
Rest and peace are vital, especially in times of stress. Jesus invites us in Matthew 11:28, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest." We encourage you to cast your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Make time to be still before the Lord (Psalm 46:10), to pray, and to meditate on His Word. Guard your heart against sleeplessness and worry, for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).
Let us pray together for you and your family:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister and their family to You. Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the sacrifice of Jesus, through whom we have hope and access to Your throne. We ask that You would surround this family with Your peace, a peace that transcends all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Lord, we rebuke the work of the enemy in this fraud that has struck their family. You are a God of justice, and we ask that You would expose the deceit, bring restoration, and reward this family for their trust in You. Father, we pray that You would turn what the enemy meant for harm into something good, something that draws this family closer to You and strengthens their faith. Help them to forgive those who have wronged them, releasing any bitterness or anger, and trusting You to vindicate them in Your perfect timing.
We pray for favor in their job, Lord. Open doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8) and grant them wisdom, diligence, and excellence in their work. Provide for their financial needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to be good stewards of what You provide, and may they experience Your abundance in ways that bring glory to Your name.
Father, we ask for restorative rest and peace for this family. Calm their minds and bodies, and help them to sleep soundly, knowing that You are watching over them. Renew their strength like the eagles (Isaiah 40:31), and fill them with Your joy, which is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10).
Lord, increase their trust in You. Help them to surrender every worry, every fear, and every need into Your capable hands. Remind them that You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). May they find their security and identity in You alone.
We pray all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this situation. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through prayer and His Word. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion (Philippians 1:6). If you feel led, consider sharing this trial with your church family or a trusted believer who can pray with you and offer support. You are not alone in this—God is with you, and so are we, your brothers and sisters in Christ. Stay steadfast, and trust that the Lord will see you through.
