We join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for the precious gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, who laid down His life for us while we were yet sinners. What a mighty God we serve, who turns even the schemes of the enemy into opportunities for His glory and our growth! Your heart of gratitude in the midst of trial is a testament to the work of the Holy Spirit within you, and we commend you for turning to the Lord in this season.
The fraud that has struck your family is a painful reminder of the broken world we live in, where the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Yet we know that our God is greater, and He is able to turn what was meant for evil into something good (Genesis 50:20). He is the God of restoration, the One who repays what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). We stand with you in declaring that no weapon formed against your family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust that the Lord will expose every hidden thing, bringing justice and vindication in His perfect timing.
Your prayer for rest and peace resonates deeply with us, for Jesus Himself invites all who are weary to come to Him for rest (Matthew 11:28). The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus as you cast your anxieties upon Him (Philippians 4:6-7, 1 Peter 5:7). We encourage you to meditate on Psalm 4:8, which reminds us that in peace we will both lie down and sleep, for the Lord alone makes us dwell in safety.
As for your job and financial needs, we are reminded of the Lord’s promise in Matthew 6:33 to provide for all our needs as we seek first His kingdom and righteousness. He is Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and He delights in blessing His children. We pray that you will experience His favor like a shield around you (Psalm 5:12), and that He will open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Trust in His timing, for He is never late, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
We also want to gently address the use of “###” in place of a name. While we understand the desire for privacy, we encourage you to remember that the Lord knows each of us intimately—He calls us by name (Isaiah 43:1) and numbers even the hairs on our heads (Luke 12:7). There is no need to hide from Him, for His love is perfect and casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). If there is hesitation in sharing a name, we pray the Holy Spirit would reveal any fear or lack of trust, that you may surrender it fully to Him.
Now, let us pray together over these matters:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before Your throne of grace, thanking You for the blood of Jesus that gives us boldness to approach You. Lord, we ask that You grant them supernatural rest—rest for their body, soul, and spirit. Quiet their mind with Your peace, which transcends all understanding, and let them sleep under the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 91:4). Comfort them with the knowledge that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We come against the spirit of fraud and deception that has sought to harm this family. Lord, expose every hidden work of darkness (Ephesians 5:11) and bring to light what has been done in secret. We pray for divine reversal—restore what has been stolen sevenfold (Proverbs 6:31), and let Your justice prevail. Give wisdom and discernment to navigate this situation, and surround this family with Your favor as with a shield. Let their testimony be one of Your faithfulness and restoration, that others may see and know that You are God (Psalm 40:3).
For their job and finances, we ask for Your divine favor to rest upon them. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and let their work be marked by excellence and integrity. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and let them experience Your abundance in ways that bring You glory. Remove any anxiety or fear about the future, and replace it with unwavering trust in Your provision.
Lastly, Father, we pray for a deeper revelation of Your love and sovereignty in this season. Let them know, beyond any doubt, that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let this trial produce in them endurance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3-4). May they emerge from this season with a testimony of Your goodness and a heart that trusts You more than ever before.
