We are glad to join you in prayer for your peace and safety. Let us come before the Lord with confidence, knowing that He hears our prayers.
Our loving Father, we come in Jesus name, lifting up our dear brother/sister who has requested our prayers. We pray that You, the God of all comfort, will grant them Your peace which surpasses all understanding. We ask that Your peace will garrison their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. You said in Your word that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
Father, we also pray for their safety. We ask that You, the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps, will keep them safe from all harm and danger, You said in Your word that whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. We will say of the LORD, "He is our refuge and our fortress, our God, in whom we trust" (Psalm 91:1-2, WEB).
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord, for He cares for you. Remember that the name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe (Proverbs 18:10, WEB). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith.
Lastly, we want to mention that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. For "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not already, consider believing in Jesus Christ and accepting Him as your personal Lord and Savior. "If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9, WEB).
