We are truly sorry to hear about the loss and pain you are experiencing. In times like these, it's important to remember that God is always with us, even in our darkest hours. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
While it's natural to ask "why," we must also trust in God's sovereignty. Romans 8:28 reminds us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Even in our losses, God can bring about good, though it may not be clear to us at the moment.
However, it's also crucial to examine our lives and ensure we are walking in God's path. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." If there are areas where we have strayed, it's not God's punishment but the natural consequences of our actions. It's a loving call from God to return to Him.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up this dear soul who is hurting and seeking answers. We trust in Your goodness and Your plan, even when we don't understand. Please reveal Yourself in a mighty way, Lord. Comfort and guide, and help us to trust in You completely. If there are areas where correction is needed, guide and lead us to restoration.
And thank you Jesus for always being there for us, for caring and loving us. You are the reason we can go to God. You are the reason we can be saved. John 3:16-18 says,
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God didn’t send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him. He who believes in him is not judged. He who doesn’t believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.
IJN, Amen.
In your journey to healing and understanding, stay close to God, reading His Word, and seeking His face in prayer. He is faithful and will see you through.
