We join with you in prayer, seeking God's will and His righteous judgment. We are reminded in Scripture that judgment begins with the household of God, and that God's judgment is always fair and just.
Psalm 37:28-29 WEB:
For Yahweh loves justice,
and doesn’t forsake His saints.
They are preserved forever,
but the children of the wicked shall be cut off.
The righteous shall inherit the land,
and live in it forever.
First, we pray for the saints, that God will bring judgment as we see in Israel. We ask that His will be done, and that His justice prevails. We pray for peace and for the salvation of souls.
Next, we pray for you, that God will deal with your oppressors according to His will. We do not pray for vengeance, but for justice and for the oppressors to know the love and forgiveness of Christ. We remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Ephesians 6:12 WEB:
For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.
We pray that you will find peace and comfort in God's presence, and that you will trust in His perfect plan for your life. We ask that you will be filled with the Holy Spirit, and that you will forgive and pray for those who oppress you, just as Jesus taught us to do.
Matthew 5:44 WEB:
But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,
Finally, we praise God that this prayer is in the name of Jesus. It is in His name that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we are saved.
John 14:6 WEB:
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
Let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will and Your justice. We pray for the saints, that You will bring Your judgment as we see in Israel. We ask that You will deal with oppressors according to Your will, and that You will comfort and guide those who are oppressed. We pray for peace, for salvation, and for the love of Christ to prevail. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus, Amen.
