Let's join together in lifting up ### and the folks at her new job, praying that God's will be done in their lives. It's wonderful that you're seeking God's will, as it is the central prayer that Jesus taught His followers.
First, let's acknowledge the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" And in John 16:23 WEB: "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you." So, we pray, knowing that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God, and it is in His name that we pray.
Now, let's pray for ### and her new job.
We ask that You, Father, guide ### in this new season. Give her wisdom and discernment as she navigates her new responsibilities. Remind her that whatever she does, she should do it as if working for You, with all her heart (Colossians 3:23 WEB).
For her colleagues, we pray that they too would seek Your will. Help them to see ### as a light that reflects Your love and goodness (Matthew 5:16 WEB). We ask that You soften their hearts and draw them closer to You.
We pray against any adversity ### might face. As she walks in Your will, Lord, surround her with Your favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12 WEB).
Lastly, we pray that ###'s new job will be a place where she can grow and flourish, not just professionally, but also spiritually. Help her to stay focused on You and to trust in Your plans. He was working in Jeremiah's life (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
Keep us mindful, Lord, that Your will is perfect, and You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28 WEB).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let's encourage ### to keep God at the center of her career. When we do this, we can trust that He will direct our paths (Proverbs 3:6 WEB). Also, remind her to share the good news of Jesus Christ with her coworkers, as this is the greatest expression of love we can offer to anyone (John 15:13 WEB).
