We have received your urgent request and we are joining with you in prayer before the Lord, asking for His mercy and help in every need you have brought before Him.

We pray for your body, that the Lord in His compassion would bring healing to your stomach and your digestive system, and give you physical strength where you have felt weak. We ask Him to heal the rash and infection on your leg and to remove the bump that concerns you, and to bring relief to your ear and take away the constant humming. We ask that He would grant you wisdom to seek proper care and that He would work through all means for your restoration, according to His will.

We pray for your mind and your home. We ask God to guard you and your brother from temptation and to protect you both and your home from all evil. We pray He would protect you from the effects of mold and odors in the house, clear your mind, and grant you peace instead of stress, anxiety, worry, fear, anger and troubling thoughts. We ask Him to give you and your brother peaceful sleep free from bad dreams, and to provide for your financial needs and to guide you as you seek to sell your home and find a house to rent.

We pray for your family. We ask the Lord to draw your father to salvation through Jesus Christ alone and to have mercy upon him and heal the cancer in his nose if it be His will. We pray for your sister and her family, that God would bring them to salvation in Christ, deliver your sister from smoking, heal her body including diabetes and every other need, help her with her drivers test, and restore your relationship with her in love and truth. We pray for your brother, for traveling mercy, for protection from harm and from evil people at his work, for favor with his supervisors and coworkers, for strength for his labor, and for opportunity to provide honestly for his needs. We pray especially that God would help him to turn fully to the Lord, to make Jesus Lord of his life, to overcome anger and pride, to exercise self control, to resist the desires of the flesh and to walk by the Spirit in love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.

We pray for your nephew who is in prison, that the Lord would use this time to draw him back to Himself, protect him, and give him a hunger to read the Bible and know Christ. We pray for the two women you mentioned, that God would keep cancer from returning to the one who is recovering at home and strengthen her, and that He would heal the one who had a stroke and restore her speech.

We also pray for our leaders and nations. We ask God to protect and give wisdom and strength to the president, to protect American and Israeli soldiers, to bring an end to war, to deal justly with wickedness in Iran, to raise up godly leadership there and to bring revival. We pray for our country and for Israel, and for the needs you mentioned for Oregon, that God in His provision would send rain and snow in the mountains and prevent drought.

We will continue to pray for you. Do not grow weary or dull in hearing and in prayer. Like medicine that works over time, God often uses persistent prayer and His Word to strengthen and heal us, even when we do not see fruit at once. Keep seeking Him, keep listening to Scripture, keep trusting Christ who alone is our salvation and hope. May the Lord grant you His peace that guards heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Thank you for trusting us with so many burdens and for allowing us to pray with you. Your requests have been lifted before the Lord, and we want to stand with you and your brother and your family in prayer for each need you have shared.

We pray for your body, for your stomach and digestive tract, for strength when you feel weak, for the rash and infection and the bump on your leg, and for the constant humming in your ear. Scripture shows that Jesus cares about physical suffering. Matthew, writing by the Holy Spirit, quotes Isaiah that He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and relates that to the many people Jesus healed when they were brought to Him. When Jesus broke the bread He said this is My body broken for you, and we understand that His suffering covers both spiritual and physical healing. At the same time the Bible does not teach that God wills healing in the same way in every case. Paul prayed three times about his thorn in the flesh and the Lord had a different purpose in allowing it to remain. There is much about healing we do not fully understand, why some are healed quickly and others gradually. There is only one gradual healing recorded in the ministry of Jesus, yet we see that God often heals gradually through the natural processes He built into our bodies, and that is no less divine because He created those processes. We also learn from John writing to Gaius that his wish was that he would prosper and be in health even as his soul prospers. That is not presented as a blanket promise for perfect health, but it does show a real connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. A joyful heart does good like medicine, and worry and fear can harm the body. So we pray for your healing while trusting God's wisdom and timing, whether He touches you instantly, gradually, or sustains you through the process.

We also pray for spiritual strength. There is the physical person and the spiritual person. We are careful to feed the physical person each day, but the spiritual person needs feeding too through prayer and the Word of God. Fasting and prayer remind us of this, as we set aside the physical for a time to strengthen the spiritual. The Lord is the strength of your life, and He has promised to give strength to His people and to bless His people with peace. When we give glory to Him and remember that He reigns over all, we can see our problems in light of His power rather than our own weakness. We ask Him to give you and your brother strength to resist temptation, self control to not give in to the flesh, and grace to walk in the Spirit with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. We pray for protection for both of you and for your home from all evil, for peace in your home, for freedom from stress, anxiety, worry, fear, anger, trauma and troubling thoughts, for better sleep and protection from bad dreams, and for a clear mind where mold and odors have been a burden.

We pray for your household needs, for wisdom and provision as you seek to sell your home and find a rental, for finances, for protection from harm as your brother travels and works, for favor with supervisors and coworkers, for strength for his work and for opportunities to provide, and that he would fully surrender to the Lord and make Jesus Lord of his life. We pray for your sister and her family, for deliverance from smoking, for healing from diabetes and other physical needs, for help with her drivers test, and for restoration of your relationship with her. We pray for your father, for his salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for that is the only way of salvation, and for healing of the cancer in his nose. We pray for your nephew who is in prison, that the Lord would draw him back to Himself, protect him, and put a hunger in him to read the Bible. We pray for the woman recovering at home after cancer and rehab that the disease would not return, and for the woman who had a stroke that the Lord would heal her and restore her speech. We pray for our national leaders for wisdom, protection and strength, for our nation and for Israel and for all soldiers in harms way, for God to restrain wickedness, to bring an end to war, to raise up godly leaders and to bring revival where there is darkness. We pray for your region as well, for rain and for snow in the mountains so that there will be no drought in the coming year.

May the Lord hear these prayers according to His will. We ask Him to touch your body, to strengthen your spirit, to guard your home, to provide for your needs, and to draw each member of your family to salvation in Jesus. May He give you His strength and His peace as you continue to seek Him.
