We join our brother in Christ from Cali, Colombia, in seeking the fullness of the Holy Spirit. It is a beautiful and biblical desire to be filled with God’s presence, gifts, and power, for the Word tells us, *"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth."* (Acts 1:8 WEB). We also lift up Mr. Edgardo Pedrozo, Mr. Itamar, and Eleazar Pedrozo, praying that they too would experience the deep infilling of the Holy Spirit, walking in His wisdom, boldness, and fruit.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. We thank You for the work You are doing in the lives of our brothers in Cali. Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your Spirit afresh upon them—spirit, soul, and body. Let Your presence saturate every part of their being, driving out fear, doubt, and unbelief. Fill them with Your gifts, that they may serve You with power and effectiveness, edifying the body of Christ and drawing others to salvation. Strengthen them with Your might, that they may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy and walk in victory.
We pray that You would ignite a fire within them, a passion for Your Word, for prayer, and for sharing the gospel. May they be bold witnesses in their community, shining the light of Christ in every area of their lives. Father, we also ask that You would guard their hearts and minds, protecting them from temptation and deception. Let them walk in holiness, purity, and obedience to Your Word, for *"whoever calls on the Lord’s name must turn from wickedness."* (2 Timothy 2:19 WEB).
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of distraction, complacency, or spiritual dryness that may be hindering their walk with You. We declare that they are vessels of honor, set apart for Your purposes. May they experience the fullness of joy, peace, and power that comes from being filled with Your Spirit. We pray that their lives would be a testament to Your goodness and grace, drawing many to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.
We also encourage our brothers to remain steadfast in their pursuit of God. The Bible tells us, *"Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."* (James 4:8 WEB). Let them seek You daily through prayer, worship, and the study of Your Word. May they be rooted and grounded in love, growing in their relationship with You and with one another. If there are areas of their lives that do not align with Your will, we pray that You would convict them gently but firmly, leading them to repentance and restoration.
In all things, may Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
