We are truly sorry to hear about the car accident involving ###. We are thankful that you have brought this request to us, and we will intercede on their behalf.
Firstly, praying in Jesus' name is powerful and right. Jesus said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" John 14:13-14 WEB. We can also read in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### to You. We thank You that no matter the circumstances, Your sovereign hand is at work. We pray for their safety and the safety of all those involved in the accident. We ask that You would bring healing to any injuries, and comfort to any fears or trauma that may have resulted from this event.
We also pray for the other individuals involved in the accident. We ask that You would provide for their needs, whether that be healing, comfort, or provision for the loss of transportation. We trust that You are able to work even in difficult circumstances, and we ask that You would use this event to draw each person involved closer to You. We pray for the witnesses that You have placed in the lives of those that were involved in the accident. Witnesses that will see this as an opportunity to minister in the name of Jesus.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we hedge each person involved in a hedge of protection moving forward. We also speak peace to their minds, souls, and spirits in Jesus' name. We are confident that we have access to You, our Father, through the name of Jesus, our Lord, and Savior.
Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
Moving forward, we encourage ### to continue trusting in the Lord, even in the midst of this trial. We are reminded in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God." This does not mean that every event in our lives is good, but it does mean that God is able to bring good, even out of difficult circumstances.
