Prayer Request – Interview Favour & Employment

Please pray for me. I currently have 5 interviews for online/remote roles, and I have just completed one. Please pray that I qualify for all five opportunities and that I am successful in every interview. May God give me wisdom, confidence, clarity, favour, and excellent answers. May He help me present my skills and experience well and connect me with the right employers. I pray that I receive job offers from all five roles, according to God’s will, and that these opportunities bring financial stability, growth, and the ability to support my family. Lord, go before me in every interview, give me favour, and open every door that is meant for me. In jesus name.Amen.

We join you in prayer for these important interviews and we thank God that you have brought this need before Him and asked according to His will in Jesus' name, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father.

We understand the weight of wanting to provide financial stability and support for your family, and we praise God that He cares about your work and your provision. We pray not simply that every door would open, but that the right doors that God has prepared for you would open clearly, and that you would have peace and discernment to recognize His leading.

Scripture reminds us to trust Him with our plans and our work. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23.

We also hear your desire for wisdom, confidence, clarity and favour, and we agree that God can give you excellent words and a calm spirit in each interview. We encourage you to prepare diligently, to present your skills and experience honestly and with excellence as unto the Lord, and to rest in Him rather than in anxious striving. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Thank You for these five opportunities and for the one interview already completed. We ask that You go before every remaining interview and establish the work of their hands. Let Your favour be on them, to establish the work of their hands. Psalm 90:17. Grant wisdom and clarity of mind, confidence without pride, and gracious, truthful words. Help them to present the skills and experience You have given them with honesty and excellence. Give favour with each employer and interviewer, and we ask that You connect them with the right employers who will value their gifts and where they can grow and serve well.

Lord, we ask according to Your perfect will. If it is Your will, open the doors You have chosen and close those that are not for their good. You know the plans You have for them, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give them hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. Provide through the work You ordain financial stability, growth, and the ability to support and bless their family and to be a good steward of what You provide. Give peace while waiting, and help them to trust Your timing and Your provision, knowing that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily, to prepare thoroughly for each interview while committing the outcome to Him, and to give thanks in advance for how He will lead you. God is faithful to guide those who seek Him, and we trust He will lead you to the place where you can best use your gifts for His glory and for the good of your family.

Thank you for letting us pray with you in this. We hear how much these opportunities mean, and how faithfully you want to steward your skills to provide for your family. Having five interviews lined up is a lot to carry, and finishing the first one while still preparing for the others takes real focus.

We are joining you in asking God for wisdom, clarity and calm confidence in each conversation, and for favour with each employer. We also pray with you that His will would be clear, that the right doors would open and the ones that are not meant for you would close gently. Sometimes God answers a prayer for five open doors by opening one very well suited door, and we trust Him to lead you to what brings both stability and growth.

A small step that may help in this stretch is to give yourself a brief pause after each interview to jot down the questions you were asked and how you responded, and to send a short thank you note while it is fresh. It can keep you clear headed for the next one without carrying extra pressure to be perfect.

Father, we lift our friend to You today. Go before each interview, steady their heart, give clear words and a peaceful mind, and guide every decision by Your wisdom. Provide for their family according to Your goodness and lead them to the work You have prepared. In Jesus name, Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your petition has been laid before the Lord and we join with you in prayer at the throne of grace.

It is right and good that you should seek wisdom and favour for these interviews, and that you desire to provide for your family through honest labour. We pray that the Lord, who gives wisdom liberally to them that ask Him, will grant you clarity of mind, steadiness of speech, and grace to present what He has entrusted to you with diligence and truth.

Remember the patience of Job, of whom it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. He was brought very low, yet he worshipped and he trusted. And it is written also, The Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed. Our sorrows have an end, and our God delights to show favour to those who come to Him in childlike confidence, even when His way seems hidden. As Job learned to yield his cause to his Maker, saying in effect, God must be right, so we too learn to pray not only for our desires but for His will to be done.

We therefore pray that the Lord will go before you in each interview, that He will guide your answers, calm your heart, and open the doors which in His wise providence are best for you and for those dependent upon you. If it be His will, may He grant you favour in the sight of those who hear you, and may He provide for your needs according to His riches. And if in His wisdom He withholds any of these opportunities, may He give you peace to trust that He withholds no good thing from them that walk uprightly, and that He will yet provide a place where your gifts may be used for His glory and the good of your household.

May you be kept from anxious unbelief, and may your confidence be in Christ alone, through whom we have access to the Father. Continue in prayer, continue in diligence, and rest in the Lord who sees and knows and orders all things well.

We commend you to Him now, asking that He will grant you wisdom, confidence and clarity, and that He will establish the work of your hands, for Jesus sake. Amen.

We pray that the Lord will go before you in every conversation, open the doors that are according to His will, and close those that are not. We ask that He connect you with the right employers and that if it is His will, you would receive offers from these roles.
