Job favour/employment, Divine Knowledge

Estrella.

Disciple of Prayer
Dear God, I desperately need a new Job with my certification, though I have no experience, my current place of work doesn't suit me at all and I'm really depressed about the whole situation, I need a miracle to find this Job quickly where I am given the opportunity to learn and grow, and acquire knowledge and also be able to get approved for residence/work Permit as I'm currently in a foreign country in the name of Jesus Christ Amen

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your needs before the throne of grace. The weight of unemployment and the uncertainty of your situation can indeed feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who sees your struggle and is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Your desire for a job that aligns with your certification, offers growth, and provides stability is not in vain, God is the one who opens doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).

First, we must address the foundation of your request. It is good that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation comes through faith in Him alone, and it is through His blood that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Christ, repenting of any sin and trusting in Him as your Lord and Savior. This is the first and most important step, for it is only through Him that all other blessings flow.

Now, regarding your job situation, we declare that the Lord is your provider (Philippians 4:19). He knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He has promised to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. We rebuke the spirit of depression and discouragement that has taken hold of your heart, for the joy of the Lord is your strength (Nehemiah 8:10). You are not forgotten, and your current circumstances do not define your future.

We pray that the Lord would open the right doors for you, a job where you can grow, learn, and be valued. May He grant you favor with potential employers, softening their hearts to see your potential beyond your lack of experience. We ask that He would guide your steps to the place He has prepared for you, where your skills and certification will be utilized for His glory. Father, we also pray for your provision regarding the residence and work permit. You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19), and we trust You to make the crooked paths straight (Isaiah 45:2).

We encourage you to seek wisdom and divine knowledge as you pursue this new opportunity. James 1:5 tells us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Ask the Lord to reveal His will for your career and to give you discernment in every decision. Trust in Him with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We also urge you to remain steadfast in prayer and not grow weary. The enemy would love to keep you in a place of despair, but we declare that you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not lose heart.

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up their need for employment, growth, and stability. Lord, You know the desires of their heart, and we ask that You would align them with Your perfect will. Open the right doors, grant them favor, and provide a job that not only meets their needs but also allows them to grow in knowledge and skill. We pray for the work permit and residency, asking that You would remove every obstacle and make a way where there seems to be no way. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their provider. We rebuke every spirit of depression and discouragement, and we declare that joy and hope will rise in their heart. May they walk in the confidence of Your promises, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We hear how heavy this feels, being in a foreign country, carrying a certification but no experience, stuck in a workplace that drains you, and facing the pressure of a residency permit on top of it all. That kind of pressure can make every day feel like a dead end, and it’s no wonder you’re feeling depressed. We’re with you in this, not with quick fixes but with steady hope.

What you’re asking for, a job that gives you room to learn, grow, and stay in the country, is deeply practical, and it’s okay to name those needs before God. While you wait for that miracle, there are a few steps you can take that might open small doors. Is there a way to connect with others in your field, even informally, through a local church, a professional network, or an online group? Sometimes a conversation leads to a chance someone is willing to take on a bright beginner. You might also look for short-term projects, volunteer roles, or internships that let you build a little experience and show what you can do. That can ease the “no experience” barrier and give you a reason to get up each morning.

And while you job hunt, please don’t carry the depression alone. Is there a trusted friend, a pastor, or a counselor you can talk with? Isolation makes everything darker. Even just a few minutes a day to pray and hand over the anxiety can help keep you from spiraling. Remember, God’s guidance often comes as we move forward with the wisdom we have, not just in dramatic signs.

Let’s pray that way now: Lord Jesus, you see this person’s weariness and the weight of uncertainty. Give them a clear path, a job where they can use their certification and learn, and favor with immigration officials for the permit they need. Calm the depression that presses in, and surround them with people who will encourage and support them. In the meantime, help them find small steps of purpose and hope. We ask in your name, Amen.

Your present trial is an appointed time, a warfare under which you groan, and your heart sinks within you. Yet remember, this warfare is but once, and the Lord who sustained Job in the loss of all his earthly comfort can uphold you in this foreign land. He has not brought you here to abandon you; He is grand in emergencies. When you have no experience, no influence, no visible door, then Christ's power is most clearly seen. It is in such straits that He works the miracle, for if you could help yourself, there would be no need for His intervention.

You spoke of a miracle. Do not think it strange that you must look wholly to Him. The power to save from this pit of depression and to open a door of employment lies entirely in Jesus, not in your certification or your own ability. He who fed the multitude with a few loaves knows how to supply your need in a foreign country where every earthly support seems frail. You are brought to the end of yourself, good. There He meets you. Do not let your spirit grow bitter or charge God foolishly as though He had forgotten you. Job in his ash heap worshipped; can you not worship too, even before the answer comes?

I perceive you are tempted to flee your present post because it suits you not. Be cautious. All our days are a warfare, and we are too prone, like Jonah, to shrink from the fight when it grows arduous or yields no honor. Pray for grace to be steadfast where you are until the Lord clearly opens another door. Yet if He has given you a deep, unshakable conviction that you must move, then trust Him to work that which only His miraculous hand can accomplish, approval for a residence permit, favour with employers, and the acquisition of knowledge though you lack experience. Is anything too hard for the Lord? He can cause your bow to be renewed in your hand, so that you go from strength to strength.

Wait on Him in childlike confidence even when He seems to frown. Your depression is real, but let it drive you to the dust, not to unbelief. The remedy is to consider the miracle of the loaves, how Christ is able to meet your emergency with more than enough. He knows your need of Divine knowledge, of growth, of a door to learn. Lay hold upon Him by faith. The Gospel is your lever, but full assurance must be the arm to work it with. Know that He cares for you, and then go forward, abounding in every good word and work, leaving the issue with Him. He has lifted up many that were cast down; you may safely conclude there is lifting up for you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
