HEAVENLY FATHER, IN THE NAME OF JESUS, POUR OUT YOUR HOLY SPIRIT, BRINGING COMPLETE HEALING AND DELIVERANCE FROM INSOMNIA AND WITCHCRAFT AFFECTING MY HEAD. AMEN.​

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for healing and deliverance. The struggle with insomnia and the mention of witchcraft affecting the mind is deeply concerning, for Scripture warns us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). We take authority in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or delivered (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father and the power to overcome every scheme of the enemy.

Beloved, we rebuke every spirit of witchcraft, torment, and sleeplessness that has taken hold of your mind. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that your mind is guarded by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). The Lord neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He watches over you (Psalm 121:3-4). We command every lying spirit to flee in Jesus’ name, for He has given us authority to trample on serpents and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and by His blood, we have victory over every work of darkness. We stand on Your Word, which declares that You will contend with those who contend with us and save our children (Isaiah 49:25). We break every curse, spell, and assignment of the enemy over this beloved one’s life. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we ask for complete healing of the mind, body, and spirit. Restore peaceful, restorative sleep, and let Your angels encamp around them to protect and minister to them (Psalm 91:11). Fill their mind with Your truth, Your peace, and Your presence. Let them lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, Lord, make them dwell in safety (Psalm 4:8). We plead the blood of Jesus over their home, their mind, and their life, and we declare that the enemy has no foothold here.

We also encourage you to stand firm in your faith, beloved. Put on the full armor of God daily, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11-17). Surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

If you have not already, we urge you to examine your heart and life to ensure there is no open door to the enemy. Confess any known sin, renounce any involvement with occult practices or ungodly influences, and submit fully to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). The Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3).

We declare freedom, healing, and restoration over you in Jesus’ name. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may He turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Amen.

We are so glad you reached out, and we are praying with you for this heavy and exhausting struggle. When sleep just won’t come, it can drain every part of life, and the added fear of spiritual attack makes it feel even more isolating. We want you to know you’re not alone; we are bringing this before the Lord with you.

Sleep is part of how God made us to be restored. It’s a gift that lets our minds and bodies heal, and when it’s missing, it’s easy to feel unraveled. While we can’t know everything behind this, we do want to gently suggest that if you haven’t already, consider seeing a doctor about the insomnia. Sometimes persistent sleeplessness has a physical root that good medical care can help address, and that, too, is a provision from God. Alongside that, we also honor your deep concern about any spiritual oppression. We serve a Savior who is greater than every dark power, and His peace can guard your mind even when things feel chaotic.

One simple, grounded thing that might help in the quiet hours is to play gentle, Scripture-based music that centers your heart on truth without demanding mental effort. Many have found that calming hymns or instrumental worship can create a buffer against racing thoughts and fear, helping the body finally let go.

Father, we come to You in Jesus’ name for this precious person. You know the weariness of body and soul they are carrying. We ask for Your healing hand over their sleep, quiet their mind, calm their heart, and drive out every torment that keeps rest away. In Jesus’ name, we break any dark influence that may be harassing them, and we ask for the Holy Spirit to fill that space with Your perfect peace. Give them deep, restorative sleep tonight and in the nights ahead, and let them wake with fresh strength and a steady confidence in Your love. Amen.

How often the arrow of doubt is shot at the soul in the night watches, whispering that God's ear is shut and His arm too short to save! Yet remember the deliverance at the brook Jabbok: you cross over full of fear, but you meet Esau and he falls upon your neck and kisses you. The Lord has not forsaken them that seek Him, nor will He do so, world without end. That very head which the enemy seeks to oppress with sleeplessness and dark assault, has it not been written that a leaf of the Tree of Life is medicine for the head and heart? The least thing about Christ is healing: a word of His, recognized as His and coming home to the heart, drives out the shadow and brings the peace that passes understanding.

As for the witchcraft, what is that but the power of darkness? But we have been delivered from worse enemies. Not Sisera, but Satan has been overthrown; the seed of the woman has bruised his head forever. We now walk at liberty through the great Liberator, the Lord Jesus. Deliverance from the power of sin and darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from guilt. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification. Fix your gaze upon the Crucified One: in His wounds our healing, in His death our life. Lean your head upon the bosom of your Lord; the more you know of Christ, the more shall you abide in Him, finding joy and peace through believing.

That prayer you have breathed, "Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus", has already ascended to the throne. The clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour and moment of deliverance, for the time had come. He who has delivered you from the power of darkness will never withdraw His hand until He brings you within the pearly gates. Cry to Him still, and then declare the works of the Lord. You shall not die, but live, and tell of His healing leaves that make the nature other than it was before. Pardon and healing are wedded together; they come from the same pardoning hand. So lift up your head, for your redemption draws nigh, and the Sun of Righteousness shall rise upon you with healing in His wings.

When you cry out in the name of Jesus for deliverance from the afflictions of insomnia and spiritual attack, you do well. Yet consider the example of Hannah, who poured out her soul before the Lord with such deep reverence that her lips moved but her voice was not heard. She received no immediate answer, and her rival provoked her sorely, but she did not retaliate or despair. The Scripture says the Lord had shut up her womb, not from cruelty but to prove her earnestness and to make her virtue manifest. So if your healing tarries, do not think it is from neglect or from any power of darkness overcoming God's will. The delay is of providential kindness, to strengthen your faith and to teach you to cling to Him alone.

Do not be offended if the sickness seems to persist, as though the promise had failed. When Lazarus lay dead, the Lord said his sickness was not unto death, yet he died and was buried. The sisters did not stumble at the contradiction, and because they trusted, they saw a resurrection greater than any healing. In the same way, the enemies of Christ secured the tomb and set a seal, thinking to prevent deceit, but against their will they provided incontrovertible proof of His rising. So every attack of the evil one, when met with steadfast faith, can become a witness to the truth of Christ's victory over you.

Persist in earnest prayer, not with listless posture or wandering thoughts, but with a soul attentive and humble. And remember that no one virtue alone is sufficient for salvation: you must couple your cry for deliverance with a careful hearing of the word, fortitude of spirit, and a readiness to be freed from all worldly attachments. For as the head cannot say to the feet, "I have no need of you," so your present trial, though it seems a dishonorable member, may be used by God to work humility and reliance upon the whole body of Christ. Do not despise the medicine of affliction, but trust that He who delivers from the curse and supplies every good will in due time grant you rest, and that not empty, but filled with the fruit of patience.

When your mind feels like a battlefield and sleep becomes a stranger, you are not forgotten. Jesus knows the weight of a head that cannot rest. He Himself had no place to lay His own, yet He promises peace that surpasses understanding. Right now, in the weary hours of the night, He is near. The enemy may target your head because it is the seat of your thoughts, your will, your authority in Christ. But remember this: the head of every believer is Jesus. He is your covering. When you bow your head before Him, acknowledging that He alone is Lord over your life, you position yourself under the shield of His protection.

That posture of surrender is not weakness; it is where deliverance flows. There is a holy abandon that says, "My head may be bruised and my thoughts scattered, but I bow before You, Lord. I let go of my own strength and my own striving. I release every bondage into Your hands." In that yielding, the power of the oppressor begins to break.

The Scriptures draw a direct line between rebellion and witchcraft. Sometimes spiritual attacks find a foothold in hidden areas of unyieldedness. Let the Holy Spirit search your heart gently. If there is any place where you have resisted His ways, invite Him to bring repentance and restoration. But even when your heart is fully surrendered, these battles can still rage. We live in a world at war, and the enemy seeks to torment what he cannot own. That is why you must cling to the truth that Jesus already bore your infirmities and carried your sorrows. By His stripes, healing has been purchased for you, body and soul.

Healing does not always show up on our timetable. Sometimes it is instantaneous, a sudden calm washing over your mind. Other times it unfolds gradually, like dawn creeping across the sky. Do not despise small mercies. A single hour of deep rest, a quieting of anxious thoughts, a moment of clarity, these are gifts from the hand of your Father, evidence that He is at work. Even now, He is restoring you in ways you cannot yet see.

When the old nature rears its ugly head with fear and despair, reckon it dead. You are a new creation in Christ. The thoughts that accuse and terrify are not your own; they are arrows from the enemy. Stand firm, covered by the blood of Jesus, and declare that your mind belongs to Him. Let His peace garrison your heart and mind.

We are joining our faith with yours and asking the Lord to rebuke every force of darkness that would rob you of sleep and sanity. May the Spirit of God hover over your nights, bringing order out of chaos, and may you soon rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
