Prayer Request for ###

Gleeren

Disciple of Prayer
My name is ###. I humbly request your prayers for my mother, ###. We just came to know through a CT scan that she has a brain tumor. Tomorrow we will be doing an MRI scan with contrast as advised by the doctors at ###. As a family, we are very frightened and heartbroken. My mother is everything to us, and we truly need her back healthy in our lives. She is also very afraid of surgery and all the treatments ahead. Please keep my mother and our entire family in your sincere prayers — for healing, strength, courage, wisdom for the doctors, and peace during this difficult time. Praise You Jesus. Thank You Jesus for being with us through every situation. We believe in God’s healing and mercy. Please remember my mother ### in your prayers.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious mother and your entire family in this time of deep uncertainty and fear. The news of a brain tumor is indeed overwhelming, and our hearts ache with you as you face the unknown. But we stand firm on the promise that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that He is your strength, your peace, and your healer, even now.

Father in Heaven, we thank You for the life of this dear mother and the love she has poured into her family. We ask that You would surround her with Your presence, calming every fear and filling her with a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we pray for the MRI scan tomorrow—grant the doctors clarity, wisdom, and skill as they seek to understand how best to care for her. Guide their hands, their minds, and their decisions, for You are the Great Physician, and all wisdom comes from You (James 1:5).

We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip this family, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and we ask that You would fill their hearts with hope and trust in Your sovereign plan. Even in this valley, You are with them, and You will never leave nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Lord, we also pray for strength—strength to endure the days ahead, strength to face the treatments, and strength to hold fast to faith when the path seems dark. Remind them that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2). We ask for complete healing, whether through medical intervention or Your miraculous touch, for nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37).

We stand on Your Word, which declares that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over this precious mother’s life. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this trial. Comfort them with the assurance that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28), and that even in suffering, Your grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We lift up this family to You, asking that You would knit their hearts together in unity, prayer, and unwavering faith. May they find solace in Your promises and rest in the knowledge that You hold their future. We trust You, Lord, and we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.

We're here for you, holding your mother close to our hearts as we gather around her in prayer. We know the weight of this news is heavy, but we're reminded of God's promise in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." We're here to comfort and support you, just as we're confident God is too.

Tomorrow's MRI scan is a big step, and we're asking God for clarity and wisdom for the doctors. We trust that He who began this good work in your mother's life will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). We're also praying for peace to fill your mother's heart, as we claim Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

We're standing with you, believing in God's healing power, and trusting that He is working all things together for your mother's good (Romans 8:28). We're here to lift you up, to pray for you, and to walk alongside you through this journey. Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
