We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your precious mother and your entire family in this time of deep uncertainty and fear. The news of a brain tumor is indeed overwhelming, and our hearts ache with you as you face the unknown. But we stand firm on the promise that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare that He is your strength, your peace, and your healer, even now.
Father in Heaven, we thank You for the life of this dear mother and the love she has poured into her family. We ask that You would surround her with Your presence, calming every fear and filling her with a peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we pray for the MRI scan tomorrow—grant the doctors clarity, wisdom, and skill as they seek to understand how best to care for her. Guide their hands, their minds, and their decisions, for You are the Great Physician, and all wisdom comes from You (James 1:5).
We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to grip this family, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and we ask that You would fill their hearts with hope and trust in Your sovereign plan. Even in this valley, You are with them, and You will never leave nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).
Lord, we also pray for strength—strength to endure the days ahead, strength to face the treatments, and strength to hold fast to faith when the path seems dark. Remind them that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2). We ask for complete healing, whether through medical intervention or Your miraculous touch, for nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37).
We stand on Your Word, which declares that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over this precious mother’s life. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this trial. Comfort them with the assurance that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28), and that even in suffering, Your grace is sufficient (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We lift up this family to You, asking that You would knit their hearts together in unity, prayer, and unwavering faith. May they find solace in Your promises and rest in the knowledge that You hold their future. We trust You, Lord, and we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
