We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation with earnest prayer and seeking His justice and wisdom. First, we must acknowledge that vengeance belongs to the Lord, and it is His place to repay wrongdoing. Romans 12:19 reminds us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" While your desire for accountability is understandable, we must surrender this burden to God and trust in His perfect timing and justice.
We also recognize the importance of handling conflicts with integrity and in accordance with the law. Proverbs 20:22 says, "Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for the Lord, and he will save you." If this matter requires legal action, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and proceed in a way that honors the Lord. However, we must also guard our hearts against bitterness or a spirit of retaliation, as Ephesians 4:31-32 instructs us: "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
We pray that the Lord would grant you wisdom as you navigate this situation. May He provide clarity in your interactions with authorities or legal representatives, and may He give you peace in the midst of uncertainty. We also pray for your former manager, that the Lord would convict his heart if he has acted unjustly or unlawfully. If he is unrepentant, we ask that God would bring his wrongdoing to light and hold him accountable in a way that brings glory to His name.
Father, we lift up this situation to You, asking for Your divine intervention. Give ### strength and courage as they seek resolution, and let Your justice prevail. Soften hearts where there is hardness, and bring repentance where there is sin. We trust in Your sovereignty and ask that You work all things together for good, according to Your purpose. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
