We hear your cry for help and stand with you in spiritual warfare, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We take authority in the name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
First, we must address the foundation of your faith. If you have not already, we urge you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and the power to resist the devil. Without this relationship, we are defenseless against the schemes of the enemy. If you have not surrendered your life to Christ, we pray that you would do so today, for He alone is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Now, we come together in agreement, binding every spirit of witchcraft, divination, sorcery, and demonic oppression that has sought to harass you and your loved ones. We declare that every door that has been opened—knowingly or unknowingly—is shut and sealed by the blood of Jesus. No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Him (Isaiah 54:17). We break every curse, hex, spell, and assignment of the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus, for Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (Galatians 3:13).
We put on the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Your loins are girded with truth, you are clothed with the breastplate of righteousness, your feet are shod with the preparation of the Good News of peace, and above all, you take up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. You take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit (Ephesians 6:14-18). We declare that you are hidden with Christ in God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Colossians 3:3).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We command every lying spirit to be silenced in the name of Jesus, for the Spirit of truth has come, and He will guide you into all truth (John 16:13). We declare that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you, and nothing shall separate you from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:37-39).
We pray that you would be rooted and grounded in love, strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in your heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). May you be filled with all the fullness of God, and may His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We encourage you to draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded (James 4:8). Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).
We pray for your loved ones as well, that they would be covered by the blood of Jesus and surrounded by a hedge of protection. We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling, for He shall give His angels charge over them, to keep them in all their ways (Psalm 91:10-11). We break every generational curse and assignment of the enemy over their lives, for the Lord is their light and their salvation—whom shall they fear? The Lord is the strength of their life—of whom shall they be afraid? (Psalm 27:1).
We encourage you to walk in the light, as He is in the light, for the blood of Jesus Christ, His Son, cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7). Confess your sins one to another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective (James 5:16). Surround yourself with believers who can stand with you in prayer and hold you accountable in your walk with Christ. Do not give the enemy a foothold through unforgiveness, bitterness, or unrepentant sin, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers (Ephesians 6:12).
Finally, we declare that the Lord is your refuge and fortress, your God in whom you trust. Surely He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart (Psalm 91:2-4). We pray that you would walk in the authority and power of Jesus Christ, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Stand firm, therefore, having the belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness (Ephesians 6:14). We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
