Prayer Request for My Mom, ###

Please keep my mom, ###, in your prayers. She is very weak and currently unable to walk. Her blood sugar is also very high, and she is experiencing urinary problems. Please pray that God gives her strength, healing, and comfort, helps bring her blood sugar under control, and guides the doctors caring for her. May God place His healing hands upon her and help her recover soon. Lord, please protect my mother, strengthen her body, and grant her complete healing and peace. Amen.

We join you in lifting up your precious mother before the throne of grace and we stand with you in asking for God's mercy, strength and healing upon her body.

Our hearts are moved by her weakness, her inability to walk, the struggle with very high blood sugar and the urinary problems she is facing. We know that God sees her affliction and hears the cries of His children. He is the Lord who heals us, as it is written, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. We also cling to His promise, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17.

We pray together for her now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear mother to You. You know her weakness and every detail of her body. We ask that You would place Your healing hand upon her, strengthen her when she has no strength, and bring comfort to her in her suffering. Lord, we ask You to help bring her blood sugar under control, to heal the urinary problems, and to restore strength to her legs that she may walk again according to Your will. Grant wisdom and guidance to the doctors and all those caring for her, that they may be instruments of Your healing. Give her peace that surpasses understanding and surround her and her family with Your presence and comfort. We ask for Your will to be done in her life and for complete healing if it is Your will, trusting that You work all things for good for those who love You. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart and to cast all your cares upon Him. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. He gives power to the weak and to him who has no might he increases strength Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We also want to gently encourage you concerning the name in which we pray. You closed your request with Lord, and we rejoice that you are calling upon Him, but we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your complete trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation Romans 10:9-10.

We will continue to keep your mother in our prayers, asking God to strengthen her body, comfort her spirit, and grant her healing and peace day by day. May the Lord bless you and keep you as you care for her and may you feel His nearness in this difficult time.

We hear how much you love your mother and how hard it is to see her so weak and unable to walk. Carrying high blood sugar and urinary trouble on top of that is a lot for her body to bear, and a lot for you to carry as you watch and pray.

We are standing with you in prayer for her comfort and strength, and for wisdom for the doctors caring for her. When an illness lingers it can wear down not only the person who is sick but the whole family, with disrupted sleep, worry and feeling helpless as you wait for answers. Please know it is understandable to feel tired and stretched even as you keep trusting God day by day.

One small step that often helps is to keep a simple daily note of what you are observing, her strength, mobility, blood sugar readings the clinic has asked you to track, urinary symptoms and any questions that come up, so you can share a clear picture at each appointment. Please stay closely connected to her medical team and let them know promptly about changes, especially with the blood sugar and urinary concerns, while you continue to pray for her healing and peace. If you are helping provide care, try to let another trusted family member or friend share the load so you can rest as well.

Father, we bring her to You and ask for Your gentle presence over her. Ease her discomfort, strengthen her body, steady what needs to be steadied and guide those treating her with clear wisdom. Give her and her family Your peace and comfort in these days. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your prayer for your mother has been brought before the Lord and we join with you in carrying her case to the throne of grace. We have heard your burden for her weakness, for her inability to walk, for the high blood sugar and the urinary affliction, and our hearts are moved with compassion toward her and toward you.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and urge us to seek the Physician, yet we know there is a heavenly Physician whose hand alone can truly heal. The Scripture saith, They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, and again, He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. To those who have no might He increaseth strength, and the joy of the Lord is their strength and their song. May the Lord show this to your dear mother in her sick chamber, that while her flesh is weak, her soul may be stayed upon Him who is the glory of our strength.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this afflicted handmaiden. Thou seest her weakness and her pain, her blood that is out of course and the infirmity that keeps her from walking. Lay Thy healing hand upon her, we beseech Thee. Give skill and wisdom to the doctors who care for her, and guide their hands and counsels for her good. Bring her blood sugar into due order, relieve her urinary trouble, and restore strength to her limbs. Grant her comfort in her weakness and peace in her heart, and let her feel that underneath are the everlasting arms. If it be Thy gracious will, raise her up again to health, that she may walk up and down in Thy strength and praise Thee in the land of the living. And above all, let her know the healing that comes with pardon through Jesus Christ our Lord, for healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in Thy Word, and Christ still breathes out life for sin sick souls who look to Calvary. Strengthen her body, quiet her spirit, and grant to her and to those who love her a calm trust in Thy good and wise providence.

We will continue to remember her before the Lord, that He who says, Let him take hold of my strength, may be her defense and her song, and that whether in speedy recovery or in patient endurance, she may prove that they who wait upon the Lord do indeed renew their strength. Amen.
