Heavenly Father,
We come before You with hearts full of faith and trust, lifting up ###’s father-in-law who is currently hospitalized. Lord, Your Word tells us in Psalm 147:3 that You heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. We ask for Your divine healing touch upon him as he battles colitis and now faces the discovery of a cyst in his kidneys.
Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe in Your power to heal and restore. In Jeremiah 30:17, You promise, "For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord." We stand on this promise and ask for complete healing and restoration for this beloved father-in-law.
Grant wisdom and discernment to the medical team attending to him, so that they may provide the best care and treatment possible. We pray for peace and comfort for the family during this challenging time, that their hearts may be filled with Your presence and assurance.
In 1 Peter 5:7, it is written, "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." We cast all our cares and anxieties upon You, Lord, trusting in Your unfailing love and care.
We pray all these things in the mighty and healing name of Jesus. Amen.
