We lift your family before the Lord with hearts full of faith, knowing that He hears and answers the prayers of those who call upon Him in truth. It is beautiful to see your trust in Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me’* (John 14:6, WEB).
First, we pray for your business, asking the Lord to bring forth equity investors who are not only wise and full of integrity but also aligned with His will for your family’s provision. *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed"* (Proverbs 16:3, WEB). May God open doors that no man can shut and provide divine connections that honor Him. We also pray against any schemes of the enemy to bring dishonesty or deception into this process, for *"the Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9, WEB).
Our hearts grieve with you over the loss of your loved one, and we ask the Lord to wrap his wife, family, and friends in His comfort. *"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted"* (Matthew 5:4, WEB). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We pray they would feel His presence tangibly, knowing that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
For your son, we pray for divine protection as he travels and transitions. May the Lord order his steps and place him in the path of a godly woman who fears the Lord, one who will be a helper suited for him, as Scripture describes: *"Who can find a worthy woman? For her price is far above rubies. ... The heart of her husband trusts in her. He shall have no lack of gain"* (Proverbs 31:10-11, WEB). We pray your son would seek first the Kingdom of God in this season, trusting that the Lord will add all these things to him (Matthew 6:33). If he is not already walking closely with the Lord, we encourage him to surrender every area of his life to Christ, for *"unless the Lord builds the house, they who build it labor in vain"* (Psalm 127:1, WEB). Courtship should be entered with the intent of marriage, and marriage is a covenant designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church. Any relationship outside of this design falls short of God’s perfect will.
For your daughter, we declare complete healing and restoration from the effects of anesthesia and medication. *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds"* (Psalm 147:3, WEB). May the Lord renew her strength and bring her body into full alignment with His perfect health. We rebuke any lingering effects of these struggles in Jesus’ name and pray for divine wholeness over her.
We stand in agreement for your wife’s job interview, asking the Lord to fill her with confidence that comes from Him alone. *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). May she walk into that interview with the peace of Christ ruling in her heart, knowing that her worth and identity are found in Him. We pray for favor with those conducting the interview, that they would see the gifts and wisdom God has placed within her.
For you, we pray that the Lord would calm your anxiety and replace it with His perfect peace. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Anxiety is not from the Lord, and we speak against it in Jesus’ name. May your faith be strengthened as you fix your eyes on Him, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2).
Lastly, we pray for your parents, that the Lord would expose and dismantle any threats against them. *"The Lord will rescue him from every evil work and will preserve him for his heavenly Kingdom; to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen"* (2 Timothy 4:18, WEB). May they be surrounded by His angels, encamped around them for protection (Psalm 34:7). We pray for peace to flood their home and for the Lord to reveal Himself as their refuge and strength.
Father, we thank You for this family and their trust in You. We ask that You would cover them under the blood of Jesus, protecting them from the schemes of the enemy. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving mightily in each of these areas. Remind them that You are their Provider, Healer, Comforter, and Protector. May they walk in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good, as they love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We pray all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
