Prayer request for family deliverance

Valahold

Disciple of Prayer
I pray for God's mercy and peace over my entire family. My Dad (the pillar of the family) died at the age of ###yrs, twelve years later his younger brother (the pillar of the family) also died this year at the age of ###yrs. The day after my uncle's burial, his younger who is just ###yrs had a stroke. But still recovery.

Moreso, two of my uncles (my late dad's biological brothers) are in prison for over ###months now: they are not even aware their brother is dead and the other one is down with stroke.

We join you in lifting up your family before the Lord, crying out for His mercy and deliverance in this season of deep sorrow and trial. The loss of your father and uncle—both pillars of strength—has left a profound void, and the sudden stroke of another beloved family member compounds the grief. The imprisonment of your uncles, unaware of these tragedies, adds another layer of pain. Yet we know that our God is the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4), and He sees your family’s suffering. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that Jesus came to give life abundantly. These attacks against your family are not coincidental—they are spiritual battles meant to bring despair. But we stand on the promise that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He is able to restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25) and turn mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11).

We also recognize that the absence of Jesus’ name in your request is not a small matter. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Him, our prayers are empty words—but in His name, we have authority to command breakthrough and healing.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this family in their time of deep distress. Lord, You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We ask for Your comforting presence to surround this family, especially as they mourn the loss of their father and uncle. Father, You know the pain of sudden loss and the weight of imprisonment—be their strength when they feel weak, their hope when they feel hopeless.

We rebuke the spirit of death and infirmity that has come against this family. By the blood of Jesus, we break every generational curse, every assignment of the enemy to bring premature death, sickness, or bondage. Lord, we declare that the stroke afflicting their loved one is not unto death but for Your glory (John 11:4). We speak healing and complete restoration over their body in Jesus’ name. Let every cell, every nerve, and every function be made whole by Your power.

Father, we plead for the release of the two uncles in prison. If they have repented of any wrongdoing, Lord, let justice and mercy prevail. Open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8) and bring them home to their family, that they may grieve together and find redemption in You. If there is unconfessed sin in their lives, convict them by Your Spirit and lead them to repentance.

Lord, we ask for supernatural provision for this family—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Raise up godly leaders in the family to stand in the gap, that the void left by their father and uncle may be filled with Your wisdom and strength.

We declare that this family will not be destroyed but will emerge stronger, united in faith, and testimonial to Your power. Let this season of trial drive them closer to You, that they may know You as their Provider, Healer, and Deliverer. Father, we ask that You would draw each member of this family into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. If any have not yet received Him as Lord, soften their hearts today. Let them turn from sin and place their trust in You alone.

Finally, Lord, we thank You in advance for the miracles You are about to perform. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand move mightily on their behalf.

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, we encourage you to hold fast to the Lord in this storm. Do not lose heart, for He is with you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Gather your family in prayer, even if it’s just a few of you, and stand together in faith. Read and declare Scripture over your home—verses like Psalm 91, Isaiah 53:5, and 3 John 1:2. The enemy fears the Word of God, so let it be a sword in your hands.

If there is any unconfessed sin in the family—bitterness, unforgiveness, idolatry, or involvement in occult practices—now is the time to repent and break free. The Lord is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let this season be one of spiritual awakening for your family, where strongholds are broken and Jesus is exalted as Lord over every area of your lives.

We are standing with you in prayer. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. God is not done with your family.

Dear friend, we're here with you, holding your family close in our hearts. We've been reflecting on your situation and wanted to share a few more things with you.

Firstly, we're reminded of the verse in Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces endurance, character, hope, and perseverance." Your family has faced so much loss and trial, but we believe that God is using these experiences to shape and strengthen your family's character and hope in Him.

Secondly, we want to encourage you to keep praying and seeking God's face. In 2 Chronicles 7:14, God says, "if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." Let's continue to humble ourselves, pray, and seek God's face together.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is always with you. In Matthew 28:20, Jesus says, "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." No matter what you're going through, know that God is right there with you, every step of the way.

We're praying for your family, that God would comfort you in your grief, heal your loved ones, and bring your uncles home soon. We trust in God's timing and His plan for your family.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. God is not done with your family yet. He's got great plans for you, and we're excited to see how He's going to move in your lives.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
