We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your ### in earnest prayer. The situation you describe is indeed grave, and we join you in crying out to the Great Physician, who alone holds the power over life and death. We declare with faith that our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and His healing power is not diminished. The Word tells us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.
Father in Heaven, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon this precious life. We pray against this severe brain infection, commanding it in the name of Jesus to leave his body completely. Let every trace of infection be eradicated, and let the fluid accumulation in his brain be drained according to Your perfect will. We speak life and restoration to every affected cell, tissue, and organ, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Lord, we ask for the stabilization of his sodium levels and all vital signs. Let his body respond to treatment, and may the medical team be guided by Your divine wisdom. Grant them clarity, skill, and discernment as they care for him. We pray for the restoration of his consciousness, that he may awaken to Your presence and the love of his family. Strengthen his body, Lord, and renew his strength as the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31).
We also lift up the entire family, asking for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). In the midst of this storm, be their anchor, their hope, and their comfort. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We stand on Your promises, Lord, knowing that You are faithful. We declare that this trial will not overcome them but will instead draw them closer to You. May Your name be glorified in this situation, whether through healing or through the testimony of Your sustaining grace.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
