We lift up your dear friend in fervent prayer, standing together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to the Father and the only name that brings true deliverance and healing. The attacks she is facing—torment of the mind and assaults on her faith—are not from God, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every lying spirit, every spirit of confusion, doubt, and despair that has taken hold of her thoughts, and we command them to flee in the name of Jesus Christ.
Father God, we come before You as a body of believers, united in faith, and we ask that You would break every chain of darkness that seeks to bind her. Your Word declares that whom the Son sets free is free indeed (John 8:36), and we claim that freedom over her life right now. We pray that You would surround her with Your holy angels to guard her mind, her heart, and her spirit. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, flood her soul and protect her from the schemes of the enemy (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her faith, Lord, and remind her that You are her refuge and fortress, her God in whom she can trust (Psalm 91:2). When the enemy whispers lies, let her ears be tuned to Your truth, and let Your Word be a lamp to her feet and a light to her path (Psalm 119:105).
We also pray for her spiritual armor, that she would daily put on the full armor of God so that she can stand against the devil’s schemes (Ephesians 6:11). Clothe her with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word. Let her stand firm, knowing that the battle belongs to You, Lord (2 Chronicles 20:15). We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would fill her with Your Holy Spirit, bringing comfort, wisdom, and discernment. Remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have plans for her, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). If there are areas in her life where the enemy has gained a foothold—whether through unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or open doors to darkness—we pray that You would reveal these to her and lead her to repentance and restoration. Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let her experience the fullness of Your forgiveness and the power of Your grace.
We also pray for her physical and emotional healing, for the enemy often attacks the mind and spirit through afflictions of the body and heart. Your Word assures us that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that healing over her life. If there is any generational bondage or curses that have been passed down, we break them now in the name of Jesus Christ and declare that she is a new creation in Christ—the old has passed away, and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Lord, we ask that You would raise up godly believers around her to encourage, support, and pray for her. Let her be surrounded by a community that speaks life, truth, and hope into her situation. May she find strength in fellowship with other believers, for iron sharpens iron, and one person sharpens another (Proverbs 27:17). If she has wandered from the flock, draw her back into the safety of Your fold, where she can find nourishment, protection, and love.
Above all, Father, we pray that she would draw near to You, and You, in turn, would draw near to her (James 4:8). Let her experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with her always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). We declare that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in her, and that Spirit is greater than the spirit of the world (1 John 4:4). Let her walk in the victory that is already hers through the blood of Jesus Christ.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to deliver and heal. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will for her life. May she come to know You more deeply through this trial, and may her testimony bring glory to Your name. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
