Prayer request for financial debt

I pray that Jesus can help me to pay off my credit cards and overdraft and ### bill debt That all the debt will be paid off and paid in full that be no more debt and I can steward God resources to help people and to stay steady on a budget in Jesus name amen

We join with you in lifting up your financial struggles, knowing that our Heavenly Father cares deeply about every area of our lives, including our finances. It is good that you have brought this before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is a promise we can cling to, trusting that God is faithful to provide as we seek His will and walk in obedience.

Debt can feel overwhelming, but we must remember that God is greater than any financial burden we face. Proverbs 22:7 tells us, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* This verse highlights the importance of seeking freedom from debt so that we are not bound by it, but instead, we can use the resources God entrusts to us for His glory. We encourage you to take practical steps in stewardship—creating a budget, cutting unnecessary expenses, and seeking wise counsel if needed. As you do so, trust that the Lord will guide you and provide creative solutions to meet your needs.

At the same time, we must examine our hearts. Are we trusting in God’s provision, or are we relying on credit and worldly systems that can lead us into bondage? Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:24, *"No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon."* Let us ensure that our trust is fully in the Lord, not in money or material security. If there has been any mismanagement or lack of discipline in finances, we ask God to forgive us and grant us wisdom moving forward.

We also want to encourage you to seek God’s kingdom first, as Jesus instructs in Matthew 6:33: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* When our priorities align with His will, He promises to take care of our needs. This doesn’t mean we won’t face challenges, but it does mean we can trust Him to walk with us through them.

Now, let us pray together for your situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened by financial debt. Lord, You know the weight of this struggle, and we ask that You provide supernatural wisdom, favor, and provision to pay off every credit card, overdraft, and bill in full. Father, we rebuked the spirit of lack and debt in Jesus’ name, declaring that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider. Open doors of opportunity, Lord—whether through increased income, unexpected blessings, or divine connections—to bring complete freedom from this financial bondage.

We pray for discipline and stewardship, that our brother/sister would walk in wisdom with the resources You provide. Help them to create and maintain a budget that honors You, and give them the strength to resist any temptation to rely on credit or worldly systems rather than You. Forgive any past mismanagement or fear that has led to this situation, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we also ask that You use this season to draw them closer to You. Remind them that their worth is not in their bank account but in their identity as Your beloved child. May they seek Your kingdom first, trusting that You will add all things unto them as they walk in obedience.

We declare freedom from debt in Jesus’ name, and we thank You in advance for the testimony of Your faithfulness that is to come. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand move mightily in this area of their life. We ask all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is working even when you cannot see it. Keep your eyes on Him, and continue to steward what He has given you with integrity. We are trusting with you for complete financial freedom, so that you may be a blessing to others and live in the abundance of His provision. If you haven’t already, consider tithing as an act of faith, for Malachi 3:10 reminds us that God invites us to test Him in this: *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for."* Trust Him in all things, and watch as He moves on your behalf.

We're here with you, friend, lifting up your financial situation to the Lord. It's encouraging to see you turning to Him in your time of need. We want to remind you of Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus wants to lighten your load, so let's trust Him together.

We know debt can feel overwhelming, but remember, God is bigger than any financial burden. He promises in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." Let's claim this promise together, believing that God will provide for you as you seek His will and walk in obedience.

Let's also remember to be good stewards of what we have. Proverbs 3:9-10 tells us, "Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine." Let's be generous with our tithes and offerings, trusting that God will bless us as we bless others.

We're praying for you, dear friend. We ask that God would provide supernatural favor and opportunities for you to pay off your debts in full. We declare that God is Jehovah Jireh, your Provider, and that He will open doors of provision for you. We also pray for wisdom in managing your finances and for a heart that trusts fully in the Lord.

Let's keep our eyes on Jesus, knowing that He is working even when we can't see it. We're standing with you in faith, believing that God will bring complete financial freedom, so that you can be a blessing to others and live in the abundance of His provision. Trust Him in all things, and watch as He moves on your behalf.

A rich man without God is poor
A poor man with God is rich

Just like the story in the Bible about Lazarus and the rich wealthy man
Lazarus was poor and needy and the wealthy man never cared to help him even though Lazarus was by his entrance gate of his house every day
When Lazarus died he went to heaven and Abraham led Lazarus into heaven through the gates for a place of rest was already prepared for him
Also too the rich wealthy man died and he went to sheol and he saw Abraham leading Lazarus into heaven gates and before they went into gates of heaven the wealthy man cried out to Abraham saying if only I can get a drop of water on the tip of my tongue I will be relieved
But Abraham couldn't help him for heaven and sheol are separated there is a protective barrier separating to protect heaven, for no one from both sides/places shall come near and no one can cross over.
There is more said in the Bible
In the end for Lazarus, Abraham led Lazarus into heaven through the gates of heaven and there he went to the place of rest that was prepared for him amen

As the story of Lazarus and the wealthy man
It reminds us to repent and to forsake sin and to let go and turn to God and believe in him and follow him and let him decide our lives how we ought to live in him

For Jesus is the only way to heaven,
To ABBA the Father, for Jesus is the truth and the life and the way to heaven and eternity, no one comes to the Father in heaven and in eternal rest unless they come to Jesus

God opposes the proud
and humbles the proud
those who exalt themselves and take pride in themselves

God exalts the humble
those who are already humble before him and those who listen to him when God humbles them
He exalts the humble in His timing

Either you humble yourself before the Lord or the Lord humbles you

In all things be humble
Be humble in the valley and at the mountain top

Feed His sheep
Help those who are suffering
Don't ignore, help them
Don't turn a blind eye to injustice
Help those who cannot help themselves
In that way what you do unto others you have done it unto the Lord

We are not saved by doing good works but because we are saved that Jesus died for us for our sins, born again then we are called to do good works, help those in need, to feed His sheep. amen
