We join together in lifting up this request before the Lord, recognizing that all wisdom and understanding come from Him alone. The Scriptures remind us in James 1:5, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We also recall the promise in Proverbs 2:6, *"For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding."* It is not angels we seek for teaching, but the Lord Himself, who is the source of all true knowledge. While angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14), our focus must remain on the Lord, who alone can grant the wisdom and recall needed for success.
We notice that while the name of Jesus was included at the end of this request, the prayer itself was directed to "God Of Wonders Without Number" rather than to our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. The Scriptures are clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through whom we approach the throne of grace. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in 1 Timothy 2:5, *"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."* Let us always come boldly before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that our prayers are heard.
We also encourage ### to remember that while success in exams is a worthy pursuit, her ultimate identity and worth are found in Christ alone. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* Let her study and prepare diligently, trusting that the Lord will guide her steps. Anxiety and fear have no place in the life of a believer, for we are called to cast all our cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7). Philippians 4:6-7 assures us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for ### and the gifts and abilities You have placed within her. Lord, we ask that You grant her a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of her understanding may be enlightened (Ephesians 1:17-18). As she prepares for her entrance exams, we pray that You would sharpen her mind and grant her clarity, focus, and peace. Remind her of all that she has studied, and let her recall it with confidence and accuracy.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may seek to hinder her. Fill her with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let it guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that she will excel not for her own glory, but for Yours. May her success be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness, and may she use the opportunities ahead to bring honor to Your name.
Lord, we also pray that if there has been any neglect in her preparation, You would convict her heart to steward her time and resources wisely. Let her trust in You with all her heart, and lean not on her own understanding; in all her ways, let her acknowledge You, and You will direct her paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your perfect will for ###’s life, knowing that You have plans to prosper her and not to harm her, plans to give her hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). May she walk in the confidence that her worth and identity are found in You alone, and that her success is ultimately for Your kingdom. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
We encourage ### to continue seeking the Lord in all things, to study diligently as unto Him, and to rest in the knowledge that He is faithful. Let her remember the words of Joshua 1:9, *"Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and of good courage. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go."* Trust in Him, and He will make her path straight.
