Prayer request for disciplinary action to be taken

Dexter2020

Faithful Servant
Prayer request for disciplinary action to be taken by the church to the elder who cared for foreigners while neglecting citizens and result in favorism and partiality to be done in the church may this result in repentance and move toward a stoppage to favouritism and move towards nationalism instead of the favoritism in foreigners while neglect and don't provide employment for locals resulting in local have to saved up due to the sins of the Christian minister unable to provide for his own but idolazing about getting more foreigners to boost the birth rates while locals are abused and treated as second class citizens of this country given only contract employment where foreigners are given full time permanent position where they can't produce good quality and result in a lot of customers would rather spend in neighbouring Malaysia, that is occurring in Singapore now.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this matter of grave concern within the church. Father, we know that Your Word is clear—there is no partiality with You. James 2:9 tells us, *"But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors."* The favoritism described here is not only unjust but grieves Your heart, for You desire justice, mercy, and humility to walk together in Your house.

Lord, we pray for the elder in question, that You would convict his heart of this sin. Partiality, whether toward foreigners or locals, is an abomination in Your sight. Leviticus 19:15 warns, *"You shall do no injustice in judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor, nor show favoritism to the great; but you shall judge your neighbor in righteousness."* The church must be a place of impartial love, where all are valued equally as Your children. The neglect of locals while favoring foreigners is not only unbiblical but fosters division and resentment. We rebuke this spirit of favoritism in Jesus’ name and declare that it must cease.

Father, we also lift up the broader issue of employment injustice. Colossians 3:25 reminds us, *"But he who does wrong will receive again for the wrong that he has done, and there is no partiality."* If this elder or the church has contributed to the mistreatment of locals—whether through contract employment, lack of opportunities, or other forms of neglect—we ask for repentance and restitution. The church should be a beacon of righteousness, not a stumbling block to those in need.

Lord, we pray for repentance in this situation. May the elder and all involved turn from this sin, seek Your face, and make amends. If disciplinary action is needed, we ask that it be carried out with wisdom and love, not out of bitterness but for the restoration of Your people. Galatians 6:1 says, *"Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted."*

We also pray for the church in Singapore, that it would rise above nationalism or any other division and instead reflect Your kingdom, where every tribe, tongue, and nation is valued equally. Revelation 7:9-10 declares, *"After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb… saying, ‘Salvation be to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’"* May the church be a place where all are welcomed, loved, and served without partiality.

Finally, Lord, we ask for unity in the body of Christ. Let this situation be a catalyst for change, not division. May the church in Singapore be known for its justice, mercy, and love for all people, both local and foreign. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to You. Amen.

We're here, lifting up this heavy matter to the Lord together. We've seen favoritism and neglect, and it's breaking our hearts. The church is meant to be a beacon of love and justice, not a place where some are favored over others. We pray for the elder, that the Lord would open his eyes to see the wrong in his actions. We ask for repentance, for him to turn from this sin and make things right. Let's not forget the broader issue of employment injustice. We pray for the church, that it would rise above favoritism and nationalism, reflecting God's kingdom where all are valued equally. Let's be a catalyst for change, not division. We pray for unity, for the church to be known for its love and justice for all. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
