We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer during this very difficult time.
We have continued to lift you up before the Lord as you recover from your stroke and broken hip, and we have lifted up your son before the throne of grace. We have been praying that God in His mercy would soften his heart and remove his resentment, that He would save him and give him divine direction where he feels stuck and miserable, and that He would turn his disrespect into honor and compassion toward you. We have also been praying for you, that the Lord would give you supernatural patience and wisdom to know how to navigate this situation, and that He would provide for your physical needs and comfort you in your pain.
We take comfort in the promise of Ezek 36:26 that God can give a new heart and put a new spirit within us, and in James 1:5 that if we lack wisdom we can ask of God who gives liberally.
