We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for a job opportunity, healing, and the desire for a godly marriage. Father, we know that You are the provider of all good things, and we trust in Your perfect timing and will.
First, we pray for this dear brother’s job interview. Lord, You know the desires of his heart, and we ask that You open the door for a second interview and ultimately the job offer if it aligns with Your plan for his life. We declare that he is equipped with the skills and wisdom needed for this position, and we ask that You grant him favor in the eyes of those making the decision. "Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this" (Psalm 37:5). May he rest in the assurance that You hold his future and that Your plans for him are good.
We also pray for his healing from this cough. Lord, we ask that You touch his body and bring restoration. Your Word says, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). We rebuke any sickness in Jesus' name and declare that his body is made whole by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Now, regarding the desire for a wife, we lift this up with great care and reverence. Father, we ask that You prepare this brother’s heart for the godly marriage You have designed for him. We pray that he seeks a woman who loves You above all else, one who will walk alongside him in faith and righteousness. "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord" (Proverbs 18:22). Lord, we ask that You bring the right woman into his life at the appointed time, one who shares his values, his commitment to You, and his vision for a Christ-centered marriage. We encourage him to pursue this relationship with purity and intentionality, keeping his eyes fixed on You as the ultimate source of fulfillment.
We also want to gently remind him that marriage is a sacred covenant, and it is important to approach relationships with wisdom and discernment. If he is currently in any relationship that does not honor You, we urge him to seek Your guidance and align his steps with Your Word. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). Let his heart be steadfast in waiting for a spouse who will honor You in all things.
Father, we thank You for the opportunity to come before You on behalf of this brother. We ask that You strengthen his faith, fill him with peace, and guide him in every area of his life. May he continue to seek You first in all things, knowing that You will provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is only through Him that we have access to You. Amen.
