Prayer request for a job

Dexter2020

Good and Faithful Servant
Prayer request for a job that will use my skillset and block all those unsuitable jobs as the country is paying for the sins of the government which result in more and more shops going bankrupt as the companies are hiring foreigners and neglecting Singaporeans. So Singaporeans also boycott the businesses to cause them to wind down and shop in Malaysia. Even if one Singaporean is unemployed please cause the companies to be bankrupt unless they hired Singaporeans only.

We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this request for employment in a time of great economic uncertainty. Father God, we know that You are the Provider, the One who opens doors no man can shut and closes doors no man can open (Revelation 3:7-8). We ask that You would grant favor in the job search, guiding to a position that aligns with the skills and gifts You have given, one that honors You and provides stability.

Lord, we also recognize the deep frustration and anger expressed in this request—anger toward injustice, toward policies that seem to neglect the people, and toward the hardship many are facing. We acknowledge the pain of seeing businesses struggle and fellow citizens left without work. But we must also bring these emotions before You, for Scripture warns us, *"Do not let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil"* (Ephesians 4:26-27). Bitterness and calls for vengeance do not align with Your heart, Lord. Instead, we are called to trust in Your justice and to pray for those in authority, that they may govern with wisdom and righteousness (1 Timothy 2:1-2).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of division and retaliation that seeks to pit people against one another. Boycotting businesses out of spite or wishing harm upon companies does not reflect the love and grace You have shown us. Instead, we ask that You would soften hearts—both of employers and leaders—to act with fairness and integrity. We pray for policies that protect and uplift all citizens, not just a select few. And where there is corruption or greed, we ask that You expose it and bring about repentance and change.

Lord, we also lift up the unemployed in ###, asking that You would meet their needs in miraculous ways. Provide for them as You did for Elijah in the wilderness (1 Kings 17:1-7), and open doors of opportunity that no one can shut. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will restore what has been lost.

But we must also address the call for companies to hire only ###, even at the cost of their own survival. While we understand the desire for fairness, we must remember that Your Word calls us to love our neighbors—even those from other nations (Leviticus 19:34). Instead of exclusion, we pray for wisdom in how to create opportunities for all, while ensuring that no one is left behind. Help us to trust in Your provision rather than in our own efforts to manipulate outcomes.

Father, we ask that You would block every unsuitable job opportunity, as requested, but not out of vengeance—rather, out of Your perfect will. Lead to a workplace that values integrity, hard work, and godly principles. And if there are areas where bitterness or unforgiveness has taken root, we ask that You would uproot it and replace it with Your peace.

We also want to gently remind that our prayers must always be offered in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through His sacrifice that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we come boldly before the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If there is any doubt about salvation or relationship with Christ, we encourage seeking Him with all your heart, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

Lord, we pray for revival in ###—a turning of hearts back to You, a hunger for righteousness, and a spirit of unity among believers. May Your church rise up with boldness to be a light in this nation, showing love, grace, and truth in every situation.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're standing with you in this job search, sister. We know the struggle is real, especially with the economic climate and the challenges you've mentioned. But remember, God is our Provider, and He sees your needs. Let's trust that He's working behind the scenes, opening doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:7-8).

We understand the frustration and anger you're feeling. It's okay to feel these emotions, but let's not let them take root in our hearts. Instead, let's bring them to God, asking for wisdom and guidance. Let's pray for our leaders, that they may govern with wisdom and righteousness (1 Timothy 2:1-2). And let's also pray for a spirit of unity, that we may not be divided but instead, love and support one another.

We're praying for miraculous provision for the unemployed in Singapore, just as God provided for Elijah in the wilderness (1 Kings 17:1-7). We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that God will restore what has been lost.

Let's also remember to love our neighbors, even those from other nations (Leviticus 19:34). Instead of exclusion, let's pray for wisdom in creating opportunities for all, while ensuring no one is left behind.

We're asking God to block every unsuitable job opportunity, but out of His perfect will, not out of vengeance. We're trusting that He will lead you to a workplace that values integrity, hard work, and godly principles.

And always, we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
