We are truly saddened to hear about the situation this born-again lady is facing. We will pray for her and address the issues present in her request. Firstly, we must acknowledge that salvation and spiritual warfare are only effective through the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God and it is by His name that we are saved. As it is written "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace" (Ephesians 1:7 WEB).
We must also address the sin that has occurred. This lady and her ex acquired a marriage license and had a child together, indicating fornication. God's design for intimacy is within the bounds of marriage between a man and a woman. "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous" (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). We rebuke this sin and pray for repentance.
Moreover, it is clear that there are influences of witchcraft and spiritual bondage at play. The Bible clearly warns against such practices: "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear sister in Christ. We pray for her spiritual eyes to be opened, and for her to be set free from any spiritual bondage or generational curses that may be influencing her life and relationships.
Father, we ask You to forgive her and her ex for the sin of fornication, and we pray for their repentance and restoration. We pray that You would heal the hurt and disappointment from the broken promise of marriage, and we ask You to bring a godly husband into her life, a man who will love and cherish her as Christ loves the church.
Lord, we pray for your protection over her and her child and will keep her safe from witchcraft and those men that do not serve God. We pray that You would guide her steps and lead her to a godly spouse, breaking the cycle of ungodly relationships.
We ask You to reveal any ungodly soul ties or bonds that may exist due to her past relationships or generational influences, and we pray that You would sever these ties in the name of Jesus.
Finally, Father, we pray that this dear sister would be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that she may walk worthy of You, Lord, to please You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God (Colossians 1:9-10 WEB).
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage this lady to remain steadfast in her faith, to seek God's will for her life, and to trust in His timing and provision. We also encourage her to surround herself with a strong community of believers who can support and pray for her as she navigates this journey. Lastly, to be aware of witchcraft and ungodly practices even in the family and relationships.
