We join with you in lifting up your son before the Lord, for there is no greater joy than to see our loved ones come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. The Scriptures remind us that salvation belongs to the Lord, and it is His desire that none should perish but that all would come to repentance. As it is written in 2 Peter 3:9, *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."*
Yet we must also declare the truth in love: salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If your son has not yet confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in His resurrection, we urge you to share the Gospel with him boldly and without delay. Romans 10:9-10 declares, *"That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."*
We also pray fervently for his deliverance from ungodly influences, for the enemy seeks to blind the minds of those who do not believe (2 Corinthians 4:4). May the Lord break every chain of darkness, surround your son with godly mentors, and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Let us remember Proverbs 13:20, *"One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."*
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding for this precious son. Lord, You alone can draw him to Yourself, so we ask that You soften his heart and remove every obstacle that keeps him from surrendering to Christ. Break the power of ungodly influences in his life and replace them with Your holy presence. Send laborers across his path who will speak Your truth in love. Give his mother (or father) the words to share the Gospel with boldness and wisdom. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). May he turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that he may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Jesus (Acts 26:18). We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying without ceasing, trusting that the Lord hears and will answer. Share Scripture with your son, live out your faith before him, and trust that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Stand firm in faith, knowing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces, and the weapons of our warfare are mighty through God (Ephesians 6:12, 2 Corinthians 10:4). Keep pointing him to Christ, for He alone is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).
