We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up this urgent need to our Heavenly Father. We thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your sovereignty over all things—over the heavens, the earth, and every detail of our lives. You are the God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. We declare that You are in control, and we trust You to move in this situation with Your perfect timing and wisdom.
Father, we lift up this pressing need for provision. The rent is due, and the promise of help has been delayed. We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and fear that may be trying to take hold, for Your Word tells us, *"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7). We ask that You would stir the heart of this boss to fulfill their promise swiftly. Let Your peace reign in this situation, and let Your provision come without delay.
We also bring before You the mention of this young man who has caused trouble. Lord, we recognize that the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but You came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke any spirit of strife, division, or wickedness that may be at work in this situation. We pray for this young man, that his heart would be softened and that he would come to know You as his Lord and Savior. Your Word says, *"If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head"* (Romans 12:20). We ask that You would work in his life in a way that brings conviction, repentance, and transformation.
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment in how to navigate this season. Your Word reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). Help this dear one to walk in faith, not fear, and to remember that You are their Provider. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and You will not withhold any good thing from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11).
We declare that no weapon formed against this situation shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on the promise that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Let Your name be glorified in this, Lord, as You move in power and demonstrate Your faithfulness.
Heavenly Father, we also want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of coming to You in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). It is only by His blood, shed on the cross, that we have access to Your throne of grace. We thank You for the gift of salvation and the privilege of approaching You with boldness because of what Jesus has done.
Lord, we pray for this dear one’s heart to be filled with hope and assurance. Remind them that You are their Refuge and Strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let them rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for their good, even when the circumstances seem overwhelming (Romans 8:28).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
