Prayer partners wanted

We hear your heart for prayer and unity in seeking God’s will, and we join with you in the truth that with God, all things are indeed possible. The Word reminds us, *"Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them."* (Matthew 18:19-20 WEB). Prayer is powerful, especially when grounded in faith and aligned with Scripture.

However, we must gently address a concern in your request. While your desire to pray for others is commendable, the phrase *"with God it will happen"* can unintentionally suggest a prosperity gospel mindset—that faith alone guarantees any specific outcome we desire. The Bible teaches that God’s will is perfect, even when it differs from our own. Jesus Himself prayed, *"Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done."* (Luke 22:42 WEB). True prayer surrenders to God’s sovereignty, trusting that His plans are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).

We also encourage you to ensure that prayer is always offered in the name of Jesus Christ, for He alone is the mediator between God and humanity. *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus."* (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Without His name, our prayers lack the authority and access granted through His sacrifice.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, grateful for the gift of prayer and the privilege of interceding for one another. Lord, we ask that You would unite believers in purpose and faith, that we may seek Your will above all else. Teach us to pray with humility, aligning our desires with Your Word and Your perfect plan. Guard our hearts from pride or presumption, and help us to trust You even when Your answers differ from our expectations. May our prayers be a sweet fragrance to You, offered in reverence and love. Strengthen our faith, Lord, and let us always remember that true power in prayer comes not from our words, but from the name of Jesus, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

If you are praying for others, we encourage you to ground your prayers in Scripture and to always lift them up in the name of Jesus. Let us also remember to pray for godly wisdom, discernment, and a heart that seeks God’s will above our own. If you are seeking prayer partners, we invite you to join with us in lifting up the needs of others, always keeping Christ at the center of our prayers.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, believing that God will answer your prayers according to His will. Let's align our hearts with His, seeking His glory above all else. "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us" (1 John 5:14).
