Prayer over wealth, money , assets or value

Jonathan_M

Beloved of All
Dear Family Of God, today I'd like to pray over any sort of material and spiritual wealth under my control that I have spent it wisely. I pray that you be in agreement with me over this in faith and prayer. I pray for favor favor favor. I pray for miracles miracles miracles in pray for blessings blessings blessings. I'd like to pray against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. I pray for extreme, unmatched, unstoppable, unspeakable, abundantly, abounding glory all over the world. Please stand with me in faith and prayer over this. All these things I humbly ask in Jesus Christ name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We join with you in faith and bring your request before the throne of grace, giving thanks that you have come in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. We appreciate your desire to be a wise steward of what God has entrusted to you and your heart to see His glory abound in the world.

We want to encourage you with what Scripture teaches about wealth, favor, and spiritual warfare, so that your prayers may align fully with God's will. All material and spiritual wealth ultimately belongs to the Lord, and we are stewards of it. Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds us, But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth. And 1 Corinthians 4:2 teaches, Here, moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful. This means our first prayer should be for wisdom to manage what we have faithfully, not simply for increase. James 1:5 says, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

We also gently correct an attitude that can easily creep in when we pray repeatedly for favor, miracles, and blessings as if God must grant abundance on demand. Jesus warns in Matthew 6:7, In praying, don’t use vain repetitions as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their much speaking. God is not moved by the repetition of words like favor favor favor, but by a humble heart that seeks His kingdom first. Matthew 6:33 says, But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. And we are warned to guard our hearts against covetousness, for 1 Timothy 6:10 says, For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, which some have been led astray from the faith in their greediness. True blessing is not measured only by assets or value increasing, but by contentment, generosity, and using what we have to honor God. Proverbs 3:9 says, Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase, and 2 Corinthians 9:7 says, Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Luke 12:15 also reminds us, Beware Beware of covetousness, for a man’s life doesn’t consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses.

Your desire to pray against principalities and powers of darkness in high places is biblical, for Ephesians 6:12 says, For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. We do have authority in Christ to stand firm, but our warfare is won not by claiming unstoppable glory for ourselves, but by putting on the whole armor of God, walking in righteousness, truth, and humility, and seeking that God's glory, not our own, would fill the earth.

So we pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving. We thank You that every good and perfect gift comes from Your hand. We ask You to grant our brother wisdom and discernment to steward all material and spiritual wealth under his control faithfully and wisely. Help him to seek Your counsel before every spending decision, to be diligent and not hasty, for Proverbs 21:5 says The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit. Make him faithful in very little so he may be faithful also in much, as Luke 16:10 teaches. Guard his heart from the love of money and from pride, and give him contentment in whatever state he is in. Teach him to honor You with his substance, to be generous to those in need, and to store up treasure in heaven where neither moth nor rust consume, as Matthew 6:20 instructs. We stand against the schemes of the enemy, principalities and powers that would tempt him toward greed, anxiety, wastefulness, or idolatry of wealth, and we ask that You clothe him with Your armor that he may stand firm in Christ. Let Your will be done in his finances, and let any increase You provide be used for Your kingdom, for the spread of the gospel, and for Your glory to be made known all over the world. Not our glory, Lord, but Yours. We ask that You provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and that he would walk in true prosperity which is knowing You and being found in Your righteousness. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring your finances before the Lord daily, asking not only for more, but for holiness in how you use what you have. Seek godly counsel, live within your means, give generously, save diligently, and avoid debt where possible. As you seek first His Kingdom, trust that He will supply all your needs and will use you as a vessel of His glory to others.

We're so thankful for your grateful spirit and for wanting to handle what God has placed in your care with wisdom. That desire to be a good steward matters deeply to God, and we count it a privilege to agree with you in prayer for His guidance and favor over your finances and resources.

We hear your longing for blessing and for God's glory to be seen in every area. Often the clearest way He shows His care is by giving steady wisdom for daily decisions, helping us use little and much faithfully, and keeping our hearts at rest as we trust Him rather than wealth itself.

One simple next step that may help you walk this out is to set aside time this week to review how your resources are currently allocated, income, giving, saving, spending, and any future goals like housing or retirement. Writing it down plainly and then praying over each part, and if needed inviting a trusted pastor, church stewardship ministry, or a qualified financial counselor to look it over with you, can bring both clarity and accountability. Many churches and community agencies offer this kind of help without charge.

Father, we thank You for this friend and for every good gift You provide. Grant wisdom to steward well what You have entrusted, a generous heart, and peace in trusting Your provision. Lead each decision and let Your glory be reflected in faithful choices. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your request and we join with you in prayer before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, with thanksgiving in the name of Jesus.

It is a right and good thing to ask that whatever material wealth, money, assets or value is under your hand may be spent wisely, for this is the main point of stewardship, nothing is our own, it is all our Master's. We are stewards and it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful, not trifling with what God has entrusted to us, not growing careless or leaving our hearts out of our work, but remembering that He will come and will require an account.

We would gently remind you of what the Scripture teaches, that an enlightened man is grateful to God for temporal blessings, but he is much more grateful to God for spiritual blessings, for temporal blessings do not last long, they are soon gone. Temporal blessings are not definite marks of divine favor, since God gives them to the unworthy and to the wicked, as well as to the righteous. The corn, wine and oil are for Dives, and Lazarus gets even less than his share.

Therefore we pray that your first desire would be for that which endures. God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in Christ in heavenly places. These are the rarest, the richest, the most enduring of all blessings, they are priceless in value. We have not one spiritual blessing which God did not give, we have never earned one, we could never create one, all spiritual blessings come from the Father in Christ. Spiritual blessings He reserves for His own redeemed, regenerate family, and their value is enhanced by their significance, because they are proofs of His eternal love towards us.

So we pray for you in this way. May the Lord grant you wisdom to be a faithful steward of all He has placed in your hands, that you may use it not to curry favor with men or to please yourself, but to honor your Master. May He keep you from a loose and slovenly way of acting, and make you diligent and faithful until He comes. May He give you contentment with temporal things and a greater hunger for holiness, for a new heart, for His Spirit within you, and for knowledge of Him, which is the one great business of human life.

We pray against the principalities and powers of darkness, asking that the Lord who brings His omnipotence to bear for His people would guard you, and that you may stand clothed in Christ and walk in the light. We ask not for favor as the world counts favor, but for the true favor of God which rests upon those who are in Christ. We ask for blessings according to His wisdom and goodness, measured out and fixed by Eternal Love, that His glory may be seen in you and through you.

May the Lord make your reflections upon His mercy sweet to your soul, and may you be found casting all your care upon Him who cares for you, rejoicing that the Most High delights in His people for Christ's sake. We stand with you in faith, asking all these things according to His will, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, with thanksgiving. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank you for sharing your heart and for wanting to be a faithful steward of what God has placed under your care. We join with you in prayer, asking not simply for more, but for wisdom and faithfulness in how you use what you have been entrusted with.

Scripture teaches that each of us is a steward of our Master's goods, whether it be money, speech, influence, or gifts. God requires two things of a steward, that he be faithful and wise. Faithful, so that he does not take what is his Master's for himself or waste it without purpose, and wise, so that he knows how to use what is given as is fitting and for the common good, not for the hurt of others or for his own ruin. To give and to receive in love is the principle of many blessings, in seeds, in skills, and in daily life.

We also hear your desire for favor and blessing and glory. The true wisdom of God is not the wisdom of this world, which counts wealth and power as the highest good. Under the old covenant many counted wealth as blessing and poverty as curse, but now in Christ we are shown something better. Wealth in itself is not evil and poverty in itself is not evil, but wealth is a vain shadow, like dissolving smoke or a flower of the grass, and it often falls to those who do not honor God. It cannot make us great before Him, and it will not remain. To be lifted up because of it is pride, and pride undoes even good deeds. What makes a person truly great is lowliness of mind, mercy, and love for neighbor.

Therefore we will not pray with you for wealth for its own sake, or for an unstoppable increase as a sign of God's favor. Instead we pray that God would give you true wisdom, which is virtue, humility, almsgiving, and thankfulness in all things, and that His favor would rest on you as you walk in that wisdom. The wealth that endures forever is not silver and gold, but the mercy and righteousness we store up through Christ.

Let us pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we thank you for every good gift that comes from your hand. You have entrusted this your servant with material and spiritual goods. Grant wisdom and faithfulness, to keep what is yours with integrity and to dispense it as is fitting, for your glory and for the good of others. Guard this heart from pride and from trusting in riches. Teach contentment, whether in plenty or in want, and a generous spirit that remembers that what we have is not our own but our Master's, common to us and our fellow servants. Help us to use power and speech and money not for ourselves alone, but for the building up of others. Deliver us from the powers of darkness and keep us humble and sober minded, that we may seek first the wealth that never deserts us, the eternal blessings of grace and lovingkindness in Christ. Give thanks in all things and keep us mindful that this present life is passing, while your mercy endures. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, with thanksgiving. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him, to be modest and generous, to give where there is need, and to consider how each decision about money and possessions can reflect the love of Christ and care for your neighbor.
