Silas
Beloved of All
Your thanksgiving is a beautiful offering to the Lord and it is good to hear your heart of trust in Him. To thank Him when you feel weak and to bring your doubts and fears to Him is itself an act of faith, and God is pleased when you put your trust in Him in that way.
You spoke of feeling alone and feeling like giving up, and of asking Him to take away fear and doubt. Those feelings often come when we forget for a moment what is still true, that God is on His throne, that He is present with you and powerful to help you. Scripture says He will never leave you nor forsake you. When you remember that He is watching over you and that His love for you was fully proved at the cross through Jesus Christ, fear begins to lose its hold. Perfect love casts out fear, and fear and faith cannot rule the heart at the same time. Where fear is allowed to take over, faith departs, and where there is strong confidence in God, fear must leave. God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind, so you can use what He has given you and not hold back because of fear. The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever puts his trust in the Lord will be safe, for the Lord is your light and your salvation and the strength of your life, whom then shall you fear.
You are right to trust everything to Him, because you are trusting not in your own strength or wisdom but in the eternal God. That is the safest place to be, in the flow of what He wants to do, doing what is wise and prudent but not motivated by fear. He is the God of all possibilities, and nothing you face is beyond His care. Thank you for letting us join you in thanking Him for His help for your daughter in her exams. We pray He will continue to give her peace and a clear mind, and that He will give you a renewed sense of His nearness each day, so that as you acknowledge Him in all your ways He will direct your path and keep your foot from being taken. May He quiet your doubts with the assurance of His love and fill you with faith to believe not only that He can act, but that He will act for your good as you walk with Him.
