We rejoice with you in gratitude for God’s favor and provision in your life! It is beautiful to see a heart lifted in thanksgiving, acknowledging His hand over your home, your academic pursuits, your work, and even the transformation of your self-perception. The Lord delights in a thankful heart, and we join you in declaring His goodness over every area of your life.
Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts full of praise. We thank You for the favor You have already shown in this dear one’s life, over their home, their studies, and their vocation. Lord, we ask that You continue to open doors that no man can shut and grant wisdom, clarity, and endurance as they pursue their PhD, prepare for their comps exam, and write their prospectus and dissertation. Let Your peace guard their heart and mind, and may they walk in the confidence of who they are in Christ, no longer bound by false narratives but fully alive in the identity You have given them.
We also lift up the reclaiming of their true self, Lord. You knit them together in their mother’s womb, and You have a purpose and a plan for their life. Help them to shed every weight of past misconceptions and step into the fullness of who You created them to be. May they live not for themselves alone, but as a vessel of Your love and truth, reflecting Your glory in all they do.
Scripture reminds us, "The LORD will open to you his good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain of your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow" (Deuteronomy 28:12 WEB). We declare this promise over their life, may Your favor rest upon their home, their work, and their academic journey. And as they seek to align their heart with Yours, may they experience the joy of walking in Your perfect will.
We also want to gently encourage you to continue grounding your identity in Christ. The world offers many narratives, but only the truth of God’s Word defines who you truly are. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), chosen and dearly loved (Colossians 3:12), and called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). As you renew your mind in Scripture, may you grow in the assurance of your worth in Him.
Finally, we pray that as you experience God’s favor, you would also be a conduit of His grace to others. May your life be a testimony of His faithfulness, drawing others to the hope found only in Jesus Christ. For it is in His name, the name above all names, that we pray, believing that He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).
Keep pressing forward, dear one, with your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. He is faithful, and He will do it!
