Prayer: Making Time To Recuperate

Dear Lord,

Thank You for showing us the importance of rest. We pray we would be more intentional to find ways of resting and recuperating. We pray we would not overextend ourselves. We also pray we would have eyes to see when we are pushing each other too hard. Please use us to encourage each other to take the time to rest and do things that replenish our energy and not just take it. We pray our choices to find ways of slowing down to rest would honor You in Jesus’ name AMEN!

Rest in the holy presence of Jesus. He is One who sends peace and joy to our troubled soul. Sickness and depression departs from us when we enter into the holy presence of the Lord and worship and adore His holy name.
