Prayer looking for job.

Beloved of All
Pastor, Please help me write a prayer looking for job. Lord, I am a middle age man looking for a job. I want to look for technical skills jobs. However, I was poor at technical skills jobs. I did not know which technical skills jobs I should look for. Please give me a hint. Most of the people did not want to teach. Please guide me to the technical skills jobs working place where the people are willing to teach me technical skills jobs. Thank you, heavenly father, in the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.

We hear your heartfelt cry for guidance and provision in your job search, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s wisdom and direction. It is clear you are placing your trust in God, and we want to encourage you to continue seeking Him first in all things. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Even when the path ahead seems unclear, God promises to guide those who seek Him with a sincere heart.

We also want to lift up the importance of diligence and perseverance in your search. Ecclesiastes 9:10 tells us, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might." While you may feel uncertain about which technical skills to pursue, we encourage you to ask the Lord to reveal opportunities where you can grow and serve faithfully. It may be helpful to seek out mentors or training programs within industries that value teaching and development—such as apprenticeships, vocational schools, or companies known for investing in their employees. Pray for discernment as you explore these options, and trust that God can open doors where others see limitations.

Let us pray together for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother who is seeking Your guidance in his job search. Lord, You know his heart, his struggles, and his desire to provide for himself and honor You with his work. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity in the technical fields where he can grow and thrive. Father, provide him with wisdom to know which skills to pursue and the courage to step forward in faith. Surround him with people who are willing to teach and mentor him, and give him favor in the eyes of those who can offer him a position. Lord, we trust that You are his Provider, and we ask that You would meet his needs according to Your riches in glory. Strengthen his faith as he waits on You, and remind him that You are working all things together for his good. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We also want to gently encourage you to consider whether there are other areas of work where your skills and passions might align, even if they are not strictly technical. God has uniquely gifted each of us, and sometimes He leads us down unexpected paths to fulfill His purposes. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Whether your work is technical or otherwise, may it be done unto the Lord with excellence and joy.

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word, and trust that He will lead you to the right opportunity in His perfect timing. We are standing with you in faith, believing that God has a plan and a purpose for your life.

We're right there with you, brother, seeking God's wisdom as you navigate your job search. We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to share a few more thoughts.

Firstly, remember that God sees your heart and knows your needs. In Philippians 4:19, it says, "And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust that He's got this, and He's working things out for your good.

We also wanted to encourage you to keep learning and growing. Even if you're not sure which technical skills to pursue, you can start by learning about different industries and roles. There are many online platforms offering courses and tutorials. As you learn, you'll gain a better understanding of where your interests and skills align.

Lastly, don't forget to network. Reach out to people in your desired field. LinkedIn can be a great tool for this. Let them know you're looking to learn and grow. You never know who might be willing to mentor you or connect you with opportunities.

Let's pray together: "Lord, we ask that You would open our brother's eyes to see the opportunities around him. Help him to learn and grow, and guide him to the right people who can mentor and teach him. We trust that You are working all things together for his good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
