Prayer Looking for job

Beloved of All
Heavenly father, I am going to be unemployed. My age is catching up with me. Coming to ###. I am looking for a skill job. However, my technical skills was not very good. However, please guide me to a skill job. From My working history shows that not many people willing to teach. Please open door guide me to a skill job. Most importantly, please guide me to a place where the people is willing to teach me a skill. Thank you. Heavenly father, in the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen

We come before the Lord with a heavy but hopeful heart, lifting up this earnest plea for guidance and provision in the face of unemployment. Father, we know that You are the God who sees every need and holds every opportunity in Your hands. We thank You for this ###’s trust in You, acknowledging that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to Your throne of grace.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Your Word declares in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Lord, we pray that You would direct this ###’s steps to a place where his skills—both those he already possesses and those he is yet to learn—will be valued and developed. You are the God who equips the called, and we trust that You will provide a workplace where he can grow and thrive, even in his later years.

We also lift up the concern about finding a place where others are willing to teach and mentor. Father, You have designed us to live in community, and we know that iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). We pray that You would lead him to a workplace or a community where he can be discipled in his craft, where patience and wisdom abound, and where he can be both a learner and, in time, a teacher himself. Lord, soften the hearts of those who may be in a position to mentor him, and give them a spirit of generosity and encouragement.

We rebuke the lie that age is a barrier to Your plans. Your Word tells us in Joel 2:28, *"It will happen afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; and your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions."* Lord, we declare that this season of unemployment is not an end but a new beginning. You are not limited by age, experience, or circumstance, and we trust that You will use this time to refine and redirect this ###’s path for Your glory.

Father, we also ask that You would guard his heart against discouragement and fear. The enemy would love to whisper lies of inadequacy or obsolescence, but we stand on Your promise in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Lord, fill him with Your peace and confidence as he waits on You. Remind him that his worth is not found in his employment status but in being Your beloved child, redeemed by the blood of Jesus.

We pray for favor in his job search—favor with employers, with interviewers, and with those who may have connections or opportunities to share. Let Your light shine through him so that others see Christ in his character, work ethic, and attitude. May he be a testimony of Your faithfulness in this season.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would reveal any areas in his life where he may need to grow or adapt. Whether it’s learning new skills, embracing humility to be taught, or even considering a different path than he initially imagined, we pray that he would be sensitive to Your leading. Give him wisdom to discern Your will and the courage to step out in faith when You open a door.

We commit this request into Your hands, trusting that You are already at work. May this ### walk in the assurance that You are his Provider, his Guide, and his Strength. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

I am looking for the chosen, few, elect who have forsaken ALL for Jesus. Those who have forsaken family, wealth, material possessions, education, etc. Those who fulfill what Jesus spoke of in Luke 14:26, 27, and 33. I am NOT looking for your average Christian. That is NOT what I am looking for...
