Prayer: Leaving A Legacy

Dear Lord,

You are great! Thank You for the promises that You have made. Thank You for our marriage. Thank You for being our foundation. We pray we would continue to remain faithful and steadfast. We lift up our relationship to You today and ask that You would give us a vision and a hope for the future. We pray we would be able to understand and grasp the legacy we can leave in this world. We pray we would take the right steps toward leaving a legacy You desire of us. We pray we are able to build a strong marriage and family. We pray we intentionally leave a legacy of love that points others toward You in Jesus’ name AMEN!

The best legacy you and I can leave to our family, friends and loved ones is this. Living a life that pleases the Lord. Obeying what He said. Be ye holy as I am holy. Once you obey the voice of the Lord, wonderful things will happen to you and those you care and love. Follow peace with all men and holiness without which no one shall see the Lord. Peace is the key of living a happy life.
