Prayer: Intimacy

Dear Lord,

Thank You for the intimacy You created to exist in marriage. Thank You for the intimacy we have experienced in our relationship. We pray our intimacy would grow deeper. We pray we would both be initiators of intimacy. We pray our hearts and minds would be prepared to join in and participate when one of us does initiate. We pray we would use that time to really understand each other and know each other. We pray our intimacy in marriage gets to a place we have never experienced before. We pray our closeness would be a representation of Your love in this world in Jesus’ name AMEN!

Dear Lord, my future husband has so deeply touched my heart and it is as if we would know one another without knowing us that well. I know deep down that he is the love of my life. Except for the first love I have or I desire for my Heavenly Family. I pray that once we are married we will enjoy all the intimacy that you have prepared. Lord, let us set an example for others as there are so few and much we see are messy relationships. But you desire differently. Yes, I do pray, that our intimacy in marriage gets to a place that we have never understood or known before. I know, because you are involved in this relationship from the beginning, you are going to bless it, so that we can be a model to others and not just talk about love, but live love. Your word gives us instructions. And I thank you that you keep your Hand upon this as I believe we are meant for one another. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen!
