New Year Greetings - Shana Tova Yom Kippur; Hatima Tova "Good Signing" in the Book of Life, Tzom Kal "Easy Fast" to you.
To You, O Lord, we pray. Righteous Father in heaven, Your name is Holy. Forgive us our sins, Father, as we forgive others their sins against us.
To You, O LORD, we lift up our souls. We trust in You, our LORD! Do not let us be disgraced, or let our enemies rejoice in our defeat. No one who trusts in You will ever be disgraced, but disgrace comes to those who try to deceive others. Show us the path where we should walk, O LORD; point out the right road for us to follow. Lead us by your truth and teach us, for You are the LORD who saves us. All day long we put our hope in You. Remember, O LORD, Your unfailing love and compassion, which You have shown from long ages past. Forgive the rebellious sins of our youth; look instead through the eyes of Your unfailing love, for You are merciful, O LORD.
The LORD is good and does what is right; He shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in what is right, teaching them His way. The LORD leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all those who keep His covenant and obey His decrees. For the honor of Your name, O LORD, forgive our many, many sins. Who are those who fear the LORD? He will show them the path they should choose. They will live in prosperity, and their children will inherit the earth. Friendship with the LORD is reserved for those who fear Him. With them He shares the secrets of His covenant.
Our eyes are always looking to the LORD for help, for He alone can rescue us from the traps of our enemies. Turn to us and have mercy on us, for we are alone and in deep distress. Our problems go from bad to worse. Oh, save us from them all! Feel our pain and see our trouble. Forgive all our sins. See how many enemies we have, and how viciously they hate us! Protect us! Rescue our lives from them! Do not let us be discouraged, for we trust in You. May Your integrity and honesty protect us, for we put our hope in You.
O LORD, ransom Israel from all her troubles. In Yahshua's Name we pray!
Amen and Amen
