Prayer: Getting To Know Each Other

Dear Lord,

Thank You for all of the moments we have shared together in marriage and the many more still to come. We have been blessed to spend this time together. We pray we would be intentional to use our time to continue getting to know each other. Please don’t let pride keep us from always learning and growing. We pray we would intentionally pay attention to each other’s needs and try to fulfill them. We pray our relationship honors You as we love each other every day in Jesus’ name AMEN!

First of all we should know Jesus, who He is, what He did and start loving Him with all our heart, mind and soul. He wants us all to be close to Him wherever we are. Singing praises to Him in the middle of a dark world.

Marriage is to give all the glory, all the praise and all the honor to Him who gave us each other. That our life will be a blessing to our next door neighbors, to our relatives and friends and more than that, to our children. Wonderful role models on how to love each other and love Jesus with all our heart, mind and soul.
